How do I delete a Group I made?

I made a Group (on my profile "Man-Machine Intersection") a while ago, but realistically, it's not going anywhere.
How do I delete it? If I leave the group won't it stay unreferenced in the database?

But what if you have over 500 members.
I want to leave the group, can i transfer ownership or something?
I made 4 groups but i want to leave 1 group i made. Will it show i made 3 groups?

Ownership cannot be manually trasnferred. If you leave, the oldest officer will be made owner.

Fixed.

Now there is another thing.

I cannot make a group for some reason.
Everything is correct and when i click on 'create group' there seems to be an error for some reason.

Now, there are groups having invisible space bars and weird emoticons but why can't i?

What error? If everything is in order, you should contact Steam Support so they can look into your account for you.

Not sure what emoticons you're talking about. All emojis I tried seem to work, as well as the unicode blank space.

That's the thing.
The groupname i want to use is called for example Sinner.
This Sinner group is already taken so i do Sinner with a invisible space bar which seems to work.
The Sinner group without the inivisible space bar is already taken but seems like a dead/inactive group just sitting there dusting away, so that's why want to do the invisible space bar. Everything seems perfect and correct and it allows me to 'create group', yet i get an error.

You can't take ownership of inactive group names.

I thought you meant it was a group that was disabled by support and the name wasn't released.
