Games Won't Go To Full Screen

Games Won't Go To Full Screen

So, every steam game I try to launch will not go into fullscreen, instead it will launch in fullscreen windowed (borderless windowed), i go to settings and it says that it is in fullscreen, but it obviously is not. This recently started happening after a windows update, however, no other game does this. Overwatch, League of Legends, Osu, etc. will open perfectly fine in fullscreen, just any steam game will not go to fullscreen, has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah, you have to find the .exe that launches your game and disable fullscreen optimizations. I found it myself because everyone on reddit and steam forums are useless.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm struggling with it now. Just got my first gaming PC and this is how my PC gaming experience is starting. Pretty frustrating.

Yeah, you have to find the .exe that launches your game and disable fullscreen optimizations. I found it myself because everyone on reddit and steam forums are useless.
