How do i take a screenshot? Shortcut key isnt working even when i change shortcut key..

I know when i used to log on it would tell me which keys to press, i think it was 3 of them in a specific order so i could take screenshots in my game (specifically cubic castles) But i cant find any information on how to do this in the help section, or on the forums, or anywhere.. And randomly trying stuff isnt working either... Can someone please help???

So if you go to Steam > Settings > In Game to change the screenshot button doesn't work?

I can change the button, but when im in the game it doesnt work, it wont take a screenshot no matter what i change it to

Doesnt work, ive tried both buttons, as well as changing the shortcut button from F12 to another F button. Nothing still....

Do you use another program that puts a overlay while you play?
If yes then first start the game and once you are in start that program later.

Nope, just steam here which runs the game for me

How do i open the game overlay? I was wondering that too..... I know it used to say how to screenshot the moment i opened my game a while back... Not sure when that stopped, wasnt payin attention then

Did that, overlay is enabled. This is how i changed my shortcut keys hoping something else would work (my F12 is defaulted to airplane mode, lol) But changing that shortcut doesnt work.

Game overlay works....
I know win+alt+g makes it record... but i swear theres a win alt ???? something for taking screenshots that has worked for me in the past but i cant find it or remember.... and the shortcut key is total failure

Win+Alt+G is the Windows overlay, not the Steam overlay. See if the Steam overlay works.

yes yes im aware, read my previous remark,,,, typing win alt g will record!! it will record what my game is doing, its that shortcut... maybe my keyboard or computer is weird. I already know shift tab to get the game overlay. which gives me access to the screenshot shortcut which does NOT work........ I need another way to take screenshots... Please help... Game overlay is fine, recording work... screenshot is a no go
