Refund from Steam wallet to my back account

So i recently purchased Insurgency SS from my credit card and then upon my dissatisfaction i applied for a refund which asked me to refund to my steam wallet or my bank account so i chose steam wallet.The refund is pending but i want to credit the amount back to my bank account.
How and what do i do?

If the refund request is still open you can cancel the refund anytime in your account settings.

Just select the open ticket and choose "Cancel Refund Request".
Then as again for a refund and this time choose the bank account as refund target.

If the refund was already approved and the money is "pending" then its too late.
The target can no longer be changed and the money will go to your Steam Wallet.

If the refund haven't been appoved yet, do exactly what Ogami said, cancel the refund request, and restart the refund again, this time, do not select Steam wallet, select the other option.

Once approved, they will send the funds. Refunds back to credit card, and banks transfer can take upwards of few business days to several business days.

Business days are Monday to Friday.

If you have a slow, or bad credit card, or bank transfer service it may take longer, as it's up to your credit card, or bank transfer company to process the incoming transaction, in some cases may take up to 45 days, if using a bad service.

And once it has been credited i can't even request to send it to my account or does it stays in the wallet unless i spend it?

Once they add the funds to your Steam wallet, you be able to use the funds after 24hours of approved.

Yes you can use the Steam wallet funds to buy whatever on Steam, but you will not get the option to refund to anywhere else but only the Steam wallet, if you refund something using Steam wallet funds only.

You can only request wallet funds to be refunded in one specific way, as far as I know, and that is when you actually purchase the funds :

Steam Wallet Refunds

You may request a refund for Steam Wallet funds within fourteen days of purchase if they were purchased on Steam and if you have not used any of those funds.
