Skin changers are known to be a cause for VAC bans. If you don't get banned after months, good for you, but I highly advise that you do not use skin changers again.

They absoultely do count as cheats, so yes, I imagine you'll eventually get a ban. Vac bans however are delayed, for exactly this reason because if people use one cheat, they're likely to use others as well overall. Cheaters should not be told what they got caught on, so... yeh, expect it, don't cheat when you have a new account.

If you never get a VAC ban for using it then consider yourself lucky. Don't gamble again unless you're willing to bet your account.

Let me use retorical questions to explain why this is tricky:
1) What version of the cheat did you use?
2) When did you use it?
3) How long has it been since then?

The specific version of your cheat may or may not have passed Valve's radar but that same version could trigger it now. VAC also delays bans for the precise reason of making it hard to say if a cheat is "safe" or not.

I am really sad tho :(). But do you think i should buy a new account early and trade my various items to it? do you think that is smarter?

How long do you think the VAC is gonna happen for the minimum time?

How much money have you invested into your current Steam profile? You may not need to worry about that until you buy a new game or a new VAC-secured game. The only other possible negative thing is getting a black mark on your profile.

I mean buy CSGO on a new account
If you used a cheat and didnt remove all traces from pc, you should remove the items.
No one knows what will happen.

You didnt cheat other people, so you got this suggestion.

If you have over $50 worth of skins, then I guess it's worth it to transfer them to a new CSGO account.
