GUITAR HERO 3 XBOX 360 LES PAUL WON'T SYNC TO PC.

Hello. I recently just picked up the Microsoft XBOX 360 Wireless Receiver for my PC, which is a Windows 10 setup. I tried syncing the Guitar(Les Paul for XBOX 360 Legends of Rock) to my PC, but for some reason it does not sync when I try doing so and the Green XBox light just blinks continuously on the Guitar. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

When you sync, first press and hold the button on the Wireless Receiver, this will allow it to read close-by devices for a short period. After that is blinking, press and hold the connect button on the Controller Device.

How'd you get it to work. My guitar only lights up when im holding down the button. When I let go it instantly turns off. Please help

Okay, so with the Windows Wireless receiver, make sure sure you install the drivers from the CD provided. After you set it up, restart your PC. And get ready to connect it. Just below your Guitar, on the base of the body, you will see a little button that has the icon of a receiver on it. That is your sync button, so press the Windows Wireless Receiver's button and at the same time, press the "sync" button on your guitar and after you sync it in, it should automatically connect, and everytime you connect thereafter, all you have to do is just press the "X-Box" button or "PS4" button on your Guitar, based on which one you have. I've tried that but I dont think it worked. The green light around the xbox logo on my guitar isnt lit unless im holding it down. When im holding it down its blinking but stops the moment I let go.
But thanks for responding, I'll keep trying

You need to sync it first, before pressing the X-Box button.
