Steam verification e-mail not arriving
So I want to try and list one of my items on the market, but the verification e-mail is not coming to the designated e-mail. Neither is the Steam Guard code email when I try to login through a different browser.

Can't contact Steam Support either because they are too lazy and instead redirect you to a DIY page which is really frustrating.

What's going on?

Before I say anything else, please do not post your email address here. That being said, you don't happen to be using AOL for email do you? They are known to have problems with some of Steam's emails.

Start by confirming you have the correct email associated with your account over here:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/

Now add noreply@steampowered.com and support@steampowered.com to your contacts. Finally, create a rule that sends all emails from those addresses to your inbox.

No, I am not using AOL. And not even the email confirmation is being sent. I'm not using any of the bigger E-mail-services like gmail or yahoo either. I do have a filter and added the emails to my contacts but that didn't change anything.

Have you ever been able to receive Steam emails at that address? I'm guessing no if you haven't received the verification email. To be honest, the simplest solution might be to change your email address.

I can still receive purchase verifications, such as those that get sent when you make a purchase or load funds to your wallet and wishlist sale notifications. Both come from the noreply email.

Changing the email address is a frustrating proccess. All sorts of things can happen. And you might have to wait another 30 days "for your own safety". I'm not signed up for that kind of frustration.

Would redirecting the emails to a different address work? I might try that.

I understand your hesitance to change your email, especially since it is working for some of Steam's emails. Unfortunately at this time I don't have another suggestion. Hopefully a more veteran user will be able to assist you.

I don't believe redirecting would help, since they do not seem to be reaching your account in the first place.

I opted to use the mobile app instead. Luckily, I've managed to verify my sale. The item is still on hold even though it's not supposed to be because I've verified it in the mobile app.

The mobile authenticator will need to be enabled for 7 full days before you will not cause trade or market holds.
