VERY slow download speed

My download speed is ridiculously slow. I've been on speedtest 4 times and every time it has shown ~95mbps download speed. On steam my dl speed is only ~20 mbps IF it downloads which it most often doesn't.

Did you specifically set Steam to measure in megabits? Because by default, it measures in megabytes. Given that one megabyte is equal to eight megabits, you would actually be receiving speeds well above what SpeedTest showed.

Steam defaults to megabytes. Unless you explicitly set Steam to measure in bits, it will show download speeds in bytes.

Can you open the steam downloads screen and post what the peak speed is? Don't forget to use the unit it shows.

Also link the speedtest results.

Note that speedtest results only show your 'theoretical maximum'. ISPs are also notorious for prioritizing speedtest to look amazing, while all your other real world traffic can suck

Also note that the graph has a line and a bar graph. The bar graph is your download speed. The line graph is the disk usage. Its possible for a patch to downloda only 100MB of data, but then subsequently spend 15 minutes patching a 10GB file locally. Thus its not downloading anything but its churning away on thta 10GB file. Watch if the green line graph is showing disk activity

If its not disk activity, then try to change your download region in steam
