CS:GO "Connection problem will disconnect in: 25 seconds" problem
At least once per round in a match this message will appear and it completely freezes and then 24 seconds later it will either catch me back up to what had happened while it froze or it will just disconnect me. I don't have any connection issues with google chrome, other game consoles, or other steam games. I have researched this issue for about 2 hours but every solution people have had hasn't worked because they were all from 2 years ago and steam has a different interface and some buttons aren't there that used to be there. Please help! I have only had the game 4 days and I have only been able to play one game from start to finish without disconnecting!

Start with Troubleshooting Lag. I realize lag is not the exact problem you are experiencing, but the causes of lag are also likely to be the causes of this problem.

I have checked this previously. The issue isn't specifically frame drops and lagging, it will just completely freeze except for me. I can look around and the game timer will still tick, but everybody around me freezes along with voice chat. I checked my router and programs that may interfere with steam and nothing was wrong with either of them

Just to clarify, lag in this situation refers to high latency, not low FPS. Your connection to the server has been interrupted. That's why everything appears to freeze, and why you "catch up" when you are able to reconnect.

Try bypassing your router entirely, if possible. If you are connecting via wireless Internet, it would be best to connect via ethernet.

That is the reason I haven't been able to fix the problem. I play on a laptop, so an ethernet cable isn't a very plausible solution since I play in different areas of my house.

Fair enough. Just for the time being, try to play a match or two while sitting as close to the router/modem as possible, see if the situation improves any.

I will. I will comment later if the problem persists. Thank you for being helpful!
