depends on the game; some allow you to create parties/teams in which you just invite your friend(s).

hey, what you need to do is: (1 you need to have a game in common (2 you should be able, while you are in a game, to send a game invite. Try it.

WHAT GAME?
In most games, you can open a session, then open the overlay, rightclick on your buddy in the list and click "Invite to game". With lobby-based games, you can usually click "Invite" somewhere in the lobby.
Bloody heck, don't expect people to guess. If you want a step-by-step-guide, give us THE GAME!

it was how to invite on steam cheers for the help reboot even though a didnt have a clue,it was football manager.and to the others bite my banger with you smart arse comments!!
