Also dark souls isn't a game that holds your hand experience for new comers to the series, people who actually learn the game mechanic, and learn to adapt to situations are likely to enjoy the game, those that just WANTS easy game that holds their hands for every step of the way are not gonna like the game.
go to recent Purchases, select the game, click "I have a question about this purchase" and list why you want a refund. They will sometimes accept refund requests outside the 2 hour/14 day window.
Duuude I died like 100 times in Sekiro and I was having a BLAST! I died a couple of times in Dark Souls and I already lost motivation. Combat is very boring.
Anyway thanks for your suggestion I'll give a shot.
If you're within the two week window, there's a slim chance. Once the automated refund is denied, you'll have to request a refund manually. But bear in mind, refunds are granted on a case by case basis and Valve are currently leaning toward denying them if you're deemed significantly outside the refund window. And 8 hours is pushing it to be sure.
didn't need to buy and spend 8 whole hours in it, the likelihood of refund being approved at this point is very slim
You "already" lost motivation after "dying a couple of times" in eight hours? After trying to like it so hard?
Maybe don't "try to like" a game but refund next time.
Help > Purchases > click on game > "i've question about ..." > fill contact form
Be polite; describe your problem; specify the reason why you've exceeded allowed time.
Whatever decision you will get, will be the final one.
Everyone kept saying: "iT's a mAsTeRpiEcE". Next time if the game doesn't click with me within the first 30min I'll refund immediately
your last purchase was on 9th february so your outside the 14 days rule to
it's also the first dark souls game so it's pretty janky/clunky, it's 13 years old now
you would've been better off trying out elden ring as it's the most accessible souls-game
However, sometimes exceptions are made. Select, "I have a question about this purchase" on the support page, and explain yourself. Don't count on it though.
The case in question doesn't feel like anything that would warrant an exception to the rules. If they give him a refund, they could just as well change the rules.
But if you're reasoning is that you didn't like it after 8 hours I'd say you probably have an 0,1 % chance :D
"I didn't like it." after 8 hours of playing will not get an exception.
