Why are people so ignorant about hackers?

Anytime I play a game with documented hackers it baffles me that everyone I play with or against seems to not know that there could be a hacker in their lobby.

Or they simply do not care about cheaters/hackers. Plenty of people simply accept that they exist, mostly ignore them and continue playing.

Well its bc they don't care or caring about it will not help their gaming exerience, other than crying about it.

But there are those that like you said, is actually ignorant, to the fact that not all hackers are transparent. Hackers can hack without others knowing it. Simply ignorance.

They know. They don't care.

People that truly enjoy a game or have been playing it forever won't care; they've accepted the fact that they exist. Try hards are the ones that make a fuss usually.
