My main account has been hacked.

Hello, so I don't have any idea how this happened but my main account has had the email changed to an email ending with "rambler.ru" at the end and password changed. I have tons more proof that this is my account.
It's been around 24 hours since I posted a support ticket but no response, is it possible I won't recover my account? I'm very concerned and worried, I'm actually awake at 4:07am due to waiting for a response, I can't sleep due to worry lol.
Is there anything I can do beyond posting a support ticket?

The account that's been hacked is https://steamcommunity.com/id/JustSmoke this profile, so far I don't think they have done anything on my account and hope it remains that way.
Any help is appreciated.

Go back to bed. Support will respond to you when they're ready with a response. It is not unusual for it to take a day or two.

Go back to bed. Support will respond to you when they're ready with a response. It is not unusual for it to take a day or two.

did you sell your account or gave away your information to a 3rd party site? accounts dont get hacked.

Also report the account through the profile page as being compromised and hopefully support will apply a lock on it until you regain access after providing proof of ownership.

"rambler.ru" is the domain name of a Russian search engine, so it's probably someone trying to sell your account. I wouldn't join Steam groups like "CSGOPoints" which revolve around items and collectables either, as I'm figuring that some interaction you had involving that group resulted in your account being compromised.

No its not steam itself its browser cookies login they dont have information about steam from steam just his logging from edge or chrome when he logged in

Its a virus on his computer affecting everything he have you should complete wipe your computer and reinstall windows or whatever op your using if you have not done that by now but they seem to only go after the big companies that your browser has logged into
