remote play key-binds on windows [BUG]
I am calling this a Bug as the user is supposed to do use the key combination and would expect an outcome (a menu appearing) and a different, but actually expected, outcome occurs
I was playing a game over remote play together (Guacamelee 2) as the client (only me and the host) it was going Ok but intermittently there were lag spikes.
I tried to use the key suggestions in the bottom left corner. The first one of shift+tab worked and brought up another 3. The settings (cogs) option was alt+tab. In my mind I had questions, but maybe Valve had put in an override to the Global Windows’ Command, so I tried the key-combo maybe to see if there were connection options, but No it just acted like alt+tab on Windows.
Why assign anything to Alt+tab in a windows environment has this person used Windows? This key combo “can” be fine in a Linux environment, and Mac technically doesn’t have an Alt key (so it would have to be different command all together).
Ways to Fix:
allow that command to be put onto another key/key-combo by the user.
Assign this command to something other than alt+tab. (this would probably be the best possible solution)
Ensure that there is a defined Override for Alt+Tab in the Remote-Play-Together program (this is probably the least acceptable option as Alt+Tab as well as other high level key-combo commands is supposed to supersede most every program except the operating system itself.
