Free animated stickers purchasables?

I hope the animated stickers from the giveaway are purchasable too? I can't find a way to get them.

I have a feeling that they might come into the points store later on, but not until after the event (much MUCH later) OR perhaps not at all. They are quite cute, I must say.

Something I read somewhere on Steam basically said just that. After the event you would be able to buy any of the free event animated stickers in cased you missed one you wanted.

I hope they are not going to be obtainable after the sale (even with points), that makes them even nicer to have since there will be those that didn't want to get them at the time they could.

Or at the very least there should be one rare sticker you get if you got one of the free ones each day to make it worth getting them and not purchasing them with points after the sale.

I'm sure the free stickers will be made available after the sale for points to anyone that missed out on them during the daily giveaways. There would be complaints if people weren't given the chance to complete the collection.

I would hope so. If I had to guess I would say it's to avoid people buying all the stickers and then not having any left to get as a reward.

Oh be quiet. A lot of people really aren't fond of exclusives as it tends to breed bad behavior among some that have it and inevitably start flaunt it in peoples faces. An elitist have's vs have not's split that doesn't benefit anyone.

Sorry but no, Valve has already done this with exclusive badges during events and sales. So it's not out of them realm of possibility and people don't need an excuse to act the way they do and will cry over the smallest of things like items are bound to account and can't get rid of them.

If they are willing to allow people to get them all after the sales free sticker with points then it should not be a big deal giving one special sticker for those that could get them all or wanted too.

EDIT: I'm not usre about you, but I literally never run into these so called users rubbing it in people's faces (not saying there isn't any) that they have special badges you can no longer get or items, etc and I'm all over these forums, groups and 3rd party sites.

By that type of logic you have I guess games should stop with all the special event items and stuff you can only get once too during an event they host....

Badges are different from stickers as you can't keep sticking some exclusive badge in a chat window to show it off. And trust me, I've met more than a few people in my life that kept trying to make themselves feel special by taunting others with some hard to find thing they had that other people didn't. If you haven't met people that petty in your life, count yourself lucky.

It's not important or an ego thing not sure why you guys always bring up that....

It's just an extra thing that usually happens when you complete something. Sure we already get the free stickers each day and that's nice (and already enough) an all but really what's the point if we can just get them for points later. There really is no incentive to get them unless you don't want to waste points.

But for people that are actually here and spend the time to get on to get them they should just get one sticker or something for getting them (but I gues getting them free is enough).

But you see people are already going crazy at getting 1 special sticker for completing and being here each day to get a free sticker...

You just answered your own question. The point is NOT having to spend points to get them later on if you want them. Then you can spend those points on something else.

Personally, with the shop staying open and points not expiring, I'm saving my points and hoping for an animated snow flurry (or similar) background when the winter sale happens.
