keep winter items after they expire?

I really don't know how to go about this but I'm going to try asking anyways, I have a winter themed profile and would love the fruitcake from this year's holiday sale to stay permanently and my item showcase, is this at all possible?

I think you are meant to consume the items in the inventory like the fruit cake orange chocolate socks lip balm and candy cane? Gives XP.
Any emoticons given in the packet we keep?
