They asked for the the 1 thing that is the oldest on the account and you could not provide it.
And yes, a 15 year old cd-key is the most important thing as it was the first transaction you made with the account. Nothing it older than that and only the original account owner would have that.
And it is actually a permanent ban.
The kind of proof you need to provide pretty much depends on the individual account, every account is different.
The only thing you can do is to somehow get hold of that one key they are asking for.
How long ago did you buy the account?
