Grand Prix day not rolling over

I've been running the GP for a few days now, and on my first day easily used up my 11k daily limit of points from previously earned achievements.
The problem is, my day has never rolled over; so I cannot earn any more tokens, cannot boost, and cannot claim any points from previously earned achievements.
I've tried a number of things to trigger the day to "end" but nothing has worked.

I wonder if this is happening to other people, or just me. I couldn't find another thread dealing with this (what must be a bug).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

same here ive been capped at 65k for 3 days now, its not resetting like its supposed to, so i really cant do anything

You only get 100 per day, max points don’t reset.

I am having the same issue. I did not play for a day and it stated my points were maxed out!

OK. That makes a little sense, though it is terribly unbalanced.
I get 100 points per day, but over 10k for participating once. So, there's really no point in doing anything other than the initial bit.

Am I understanding this correctly?

Yeah, the design of this event is incredibly stupid. Basically, the "max points" or "capacity" or however they are calling it today, don't mean that.

Or alternatively, you can imagine it as driving not just by burning fuel from your tank, but also by burning bits of the fuel tank itself at the same time.

They have also added an audit in the pitstop. Under your available tokens is, "You've earned X amount of tokens total. View Details"

Click on the "view details."

Yeah, I saw that total. I thought it would keep going up by a significant amount by playing games and earning achievements, but that's just not the case.

Just one game that I've been playing for the past few days has enough points from achievements to last me for 80 days of tokens(at 100 points per day). Seems terribly unbalanced. I sort of wish I hadn't noticed it in the first place, as it just makes me feel bad for participating.
