So a drunk person hit my patrol car, Parked on the side mind you, and it's my fault?
I hope that gets reworked because that's kind of annoying.

The worst part is they are clearly drunk and there is no option but the standard operation for the officer's induced accidents.

I support. This system needs to be improved in case of accidents involving a patrol car.
I think they should make the normal document verification process like a normal accident. And if we have a reasonable detention of a citizen or we have found a violation, then there is no need to apologize, and an accident should automatically cancel points for behavior.
At the same time, I would like to see passers-by witnesses in such accidents. Developers need to improve the response of NPCs to accidents when participating with a patrol car.

Someone ran a red light and T-boned me as I was running lights and sirens through the intersection, still counts as my fault I wish there was another option too

Alright, so the major problem here is because the officer involved in the accident, isn't going to be investigating the accident their self. That can get shredded by defense. There would be another senior officer dispatched to handle the accident investigation. Not only that, there's also the major collision problem, because if your car gets totally wrecked, that's End of Shift. Of course, that's more because you're going to the hospital, not Judy chiming in that "hurr, your shift is over! We'll send someone else to clean up your mess, a@$hole! *snap snap snap*". (Yes, I have an unreasonable hatred for Dispatch in this game, I'm not even halfway apologizing for that).

We don't have that. Obviously. Because this is mainly treated like a single player game.

Real world, it doesn't matter the circumstances, if the driver's drunk, they're going to the slammer. Unless there's some really weird legal reason if the officer was driving with blatant disregard for anything around him and the accident would have occurred regardless if the driver was drunk or not. But if the officer wasn't even in motion, no.

I'm sure the officers they've had helping on the sidelines have told them, "Yeah, officers are never allowed to investigate or take action on anything that they may have personal liability." And took that statement and just ran with it. There's enough breaks in reality with this game (looking at you, multiple times tasering someone). Let us investigate. If that driver's drunk, they're being taken off the street. That's not even a question.

It’s crazy I just got rear ended by a drunk driver with lights and sirens and it’s my fault

Let the citizen go, do not apologize, when citizen returns to car and drives, just (blip) them, and perform a normal traffic stop, and ticket or arrest as needed.
