I also suggest you take a look at his other works.
"Knytt Stories" f.e. is a metroidvania game that offers lots of user generated content.
It also has great music. But heed my advice: "Don´t eat the mushroom" -.-

I found that NightSky works great in full screen mode on my 1920x1080 monitor running with Windows 7 64 bit. I only had issues with Windows XP Pro SP3.
