Linux support or better Proton support?
I bought this game and it's a lot of fun. The problem is that i game on Linux only and with Proton the game is quite crashy (cannot invite friends and sometimes even escape menu crashes) Is there any plans to add Linux support or at least try to make it work better with Proton?

Hello! Thanks for buying the game. We initially were releasing for Linux but no one seemed to play those version so we decided to drop the Linux support since it required a dedicated build which took some time away from development. I will discuss this with the team and will reply as soon as I have more information regarding the Linux version.

Never heard about this game before, but it looks like a great fun couch game! This goes immediately to the wishlist, will be great to pick up for the next game night.

Much appreciation for your Linux support! :puzzleheart:

Please add Linux to the list of supported operating systems on the store page.

Just wanted to give my thanks for actually supporting Linux. Picked up a copy, my little dude is going to love playing this with me :)
Thank you! Now playing in native Linux. :tlove:

Two questions: Are there supposed to be videos on the screens in the tutorial? If yes, could you please fix the videos on the screens for Linux? If not, the rest of the game seems to play really well. Nicely done!

There're supposed to be videos in the tutorial (They should only play if you are standing in front of them) I will look into it and see if I can find a fix.

It's likely just an issue of using the right codec, it comes up a few times.

I also don't see the videos.

I do have some more issues tho,

When I touch a button or joystick on my controller the FPS drops to 6-7 where it normally sits around 130 on Ultra. I tried Steam Input on and off.

I also get a big cursor like a crosshair that is like half the vertical size of my screen that skips every frame, So it is visible unvisible visible unvisible. This is also the case if I connect a controller or not.

I saw it was free to play for a limited amount of time so I decided to test it, I have added it to my wishlist for now, I will buy it for sure If I am able to fix these small issues.

Same issues as Houtworm. 5 fps when touching the gamepad, graphical corruption on/around the giant crosshair.
Game works properly with Steam Play (Proton 4.11-9)

Specs:
Debian sid (rolling release, latest updates)
Logitech F710 wireless gamepad (uses its own dongle and no extra drivers)
KDE Plasma 5.14.5, Xorg 1.20.6
Nvidia GTX 1080ti driver 440.36
3440x1440 main monitor

For easy testing you can use the latest Debian regular installer, should be close enough and can easily be upgraded to sid if necessary.

Sounds like a big regression, worked so well on Linux before the very last update.

Could you give me some system specifics like distro and version? Also the gamepad you're using would be very helpful. I'll try and install the same distro and see if I can find a repro.
