iVRy Driver for SteamVR

iVRy Driver for SteamVR

Low res (blurry) even with high end pc
I am using Ivry Premium with A7 2018 and Gear VR. Everything works fine except the image looks blurry. Any way I can override the resolution beyond 2192x1068? Please help! I also use wifi connection with this.

How can you make the phone display a higher resolution than its display is capable of? You can't... You can change the render resolution in the iVRy settings to a higher resolution in order to super-sample the image. You can change the driver mode to "Virtual" as this can help in some instances. You can change the maximum bitrate for H264, and you can disable "auto" bitrate setting, however, this depends on the quality of your Wifi network.

All you said worked well, except the virtual mode. There's nothing in my phone screen but in VR view of SteamVR, it looks like normal (working fine). What's the difference between direct and virtual anyway?

Internally (in SteamVR), the Direct mode follows the "Oculus/WMR" code path, and Virtual mode follows the "Vive/Index" code path. Use whichever works for you, there isn't a massive difference (apart from a texture filtering step in Direct which isn't present in Virtual), and both paths are well tested by Valve as Oculus/WMR and Vive/Index headsets are in the "first tier support" category.

The Virtual driver issue seems to be an issue in the latest SteamVR. Normally, you would be able to use either Direct or Virtual mode, but until this is resolved, you will need to use Direct.
