Enemy respawn: how to...

So I experimented a bit on this with The Collector's Cave as it is stated i can be done but not how it is done. Waited outside a day, nothing, waited 3 days, nothing, however, waiting a day FAR south of the cave has indeed re spawned the enemies, will update after further testing

Edit: OK so 2nd try to re spawn, moved to Cragroft, required 5 days (waiting 10 times) to re spawn, will try again at the cave

Edit 2: waited 5 days just outside the entrance and... IT WORKED!!! seems 5 days is the sweet spot for re spawning enemies, will try at camps in overworld next

Edit 3: tried at Korrow Ruins, cleared it out, waited 5 days, nothing, fast traveled to Lower Hogsmead and back, RESPAWN. seems for Overworld spawns you have to move away while dungeons, you can wait outside the entrance, plan to use this to complete the combat section of my O.W.L., and hopefully this helps you

Edit 4: retested and i will now say 4-5 days till respawn

bump, i was wondering this same thing when i re entered a zone I had already cleared. this would be good to know for mat farming in case you ever run out or something.

Do enemies ever respawn at bandit camps? I was hoping they would so I could farm and work on dueling feats.

yes they do. for overworld enemies, you will have to leave the area for it to respawn

Three is one bandit camp, close to a place where you can capture small flying beasts (cant recall name) that respaws immediately after you move just a bit away. I killed the dark wizards 3 times and thought that it was a bug. I did that right after the Chinese cabbage quest.

I think not only enemies respawn, but some chests can have additional loot as well, though this might be a bug.

When i further cleared Hogsmeade, one of the eye chests i had already cleared flared up again during Revelio and i was able to get another 500 Gold out of it. The big blue chests that usually have a legendary item also flare up during Revelio even though they are cleared.

Nifty almost was gonna do something similar to get a combat challenge finished. Fortunately found another den of the relevant enemy first. The info should be helpful to someone low on materials early game potentially.

Hmm maybe I didn't give the camps enough time as they were not respawning for me. Will check again tonight.
