Valve: Think about your female subscribers, please
I'm a gamer. I'm female. I find this particular game to be really, really disturbing. There are at least two reasons it ought not to be made available to the consumer market. 1) Half that consumer market comprises girls and women. This particular game equates the♥♥♥♥♥♥of girls and women with entertainment. Female gamers would not be investing in a game whose sole purpose is to gratify boys' and men's♥♥♥♥♥♥fantasies. Hence, you are then alienating half your market. 2) As a gamer, I understand the difference between fantasy and reality. I am sceptical of arguments which suggest that people play a game and then act out those fantasies in real life. However, in making such a game available to consumers, Valve Corp would be implicitly endorsing violence against women. It is not that violence against women ought never to be shown in any videogame ever, regardless of context. The problem here is that violence against women is the *defining feature of the game*. There is sociological evidence to suggest a solid relationship between exposure to portrayals of violence against women and willingness to engage in or accept it in one’s own relationships. This means that games such as this one reflect and perpetuate a cultural attitude that♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥girls and women is desirable and socially acceptable, and carries no legal consequences. So I urge Valve Corp to consider carefully whether it is in the corporation's interest to make this game available on the Steam platform.

didn't read, lmao
So you'd like to have a game with violence against men as a selling point. I get you. I'm sure somebody will do it if it's not already made before.

Ummm, just wondering why the word ♥♥♥♥♥♥ has been replaced with LOVE HEARTS?

Because it's just forceful love.

Imagine being so tilted in life
So what's your point on games that kill people?

Imagine living in Middle East or South America and see listed games where they are the enemies that needs to be killed with no reason at all.

Let's not be hypocrites here. It's just a game.

Valve will take care of this if they see something wrong, I trust them.

Cheers.
