im really surprised
that nobody has made a billion threads complaining about Denuvo yet where are you whiney ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you love this ♥♥♥♥ lol
Nowadays, said malware is 'cleansed' from the software it infects within days, nay weeks or months, of release; and the celerity of this 'virus-removal', is only increasing with each release.
As such, no one cares about something that does not affect them (*assuming they are willing to apply the 'fixes' to circumvent the malware in question).

We've come to expect stupidity.
This was at the bottom of my list, below Koei Tecmo DLC, because I expected this to happen.
At this point, after skipping so many WB published games, and seeing them remove it on other stores but leave Denuvo on the Steam version YEARS after it was cracked in a week or less anyway...
Well, it's not a surprise, so I hadn't even gotten my hopes up for playing this.
Just another disappointment like Injustice 2 was, but I didn't let myself become excited for anything with their name attached to it, not after so many obnoxious decisions on the part of this particular publisher.

i mean mk 11 is going to be amazing i cant imagine people actually are that upset over it nowdays i see it as more of a meme really
I think Shaoh_Kahn has it in one though, it's not like DRM will stop anyone from playing, only from paying.
I don't think that I've ever even noticed Denuvo.
I didn't until I started trying to play games offline.
The authentication issues should be concerning, even for people who play online, though.
If it breaks due to an expired key and needs to access the server to update that key any server issues, like one WB had that shut down all of their Denuvo games for a little while not so long ago, will break the game for everyone.
This wouldn't be an issue, only a minor annoyance, if they proved themselves capable of patching it out eventually though.
So far that had happened with Hitman 2, and I'm pretty sure that's on IO because as soon as they left Square Enix they pulled it from their games so seeing them be the only EB developer to remove it speaks for them rather than WB, nothing else has been patched.
Not even games that released elsewhere without Denuvo, like Mad Max which is on Origin without an extra layer of DRM, get patched here on Steam.
Also, to keep from pointing out games only from the same publisher, Injustice 2 also has never been patched despite the "protections" being about a year past the last time they did anything for that game at all.
Which is why they should patch it out.
Once the initial rush dies down they need to draw in the people who aren't interested in online play and just want a local fighting game to play with friends/family and run through the story.
I play campaign, then local vs matches, think I went online with MK X(L) something like a total of twice since it launched on PC.

I don't think that I've ever even noticed Denuvo.Just like this one said, I have no problem with Denuvo because it causes nothing.
Mods have actually been deleting them fairly quickly. Its a beaten horse at this rate. Always find it funny that keyboard warriors think screaming on a forum that most devs ignore would get it removed.
im shocked theres nobody asking about KB/M options like monkey's
