Limited voice language choices

Why the hell is this game only getting 2 voice acted languages? Have the developers of this game forgotten about the fact that SpongeBob has voice casts all over the world or were they just too lazy to include more spoken languages?

Nope never played that since even back then they were too lazy to add more spoken languages to it. I was hoping that they'd fix that with this version but apparently not. What a way to flip pretty much every other SpongeBob voice cast the middle finger.

so you are boycotting the game just because there is only 2 voice language ? wtf wow its like saying "iF i CaNt PlaY ThE GaME iN RuSsIaN, InDOnESian, MaILaSiAN" etc etc i should just dont care about the game ? just be happy its even in english, they could just dont give a single F.uck about it and just make no voice actors, btw you know it cost tons of money to get proper voice actors to voice right ? and not to even talk about how expensive it is to hire some of them aswell, if you want bad actors yes hire me for 10 dollar a hour and i will be at your place as soon as you say creditcard but if you want good ones it will cost, and if one of the main language is english im more than happy just to get that in the game, just look at most japanese games they only have japanese voice and english dubbed, they are doing pretty fine just with 2, one is plenty enought as long as it is in english, 2 or more is just luxury, if you live in 2020 and cant use native english voice and be happy with that, well then your probably just one of them who they dont care or market the game for, just saying, its sad that you wont play or havent played this gem, i really hope you change your mind and buy this game and give it a chance when it hits the store on steam <3

If this was a game based on some obscure franchise that barely anyone knew of then you'd have a legitimate point. But this is SpongeBob SquarePants we're talking about here in case you've forgotten about that. They can easily add many more different language dubs into this but apparently they decided to cheapen out with this game instead. They don't even need to search for any voice actors either cause those have already been decided for them so aside from pure greed and utter laziness there's nothing stopping them from adding more different language dubs into this game.

If this game from one of the most profitable kids TV shows of all time doesn't even have multiple dubbed languages in this day and age then it rightfully deserves to be called garbage yes. Back in the 1900s this might've been somewhat excusable but with how far technology has come nowadays this kind of laziness is unacceptable.

I've seen 3 total wild people in these discussions over the past week or so. You got one talking about everyone wanted the old 2D PC game instead of the OBJECTIVELY superior console versions of the game.

You got another going on and on about limited voice languages being A WHOLE reason NOT to get a game without ANY consideration towards the fact that the game used to already fail to acquire one of the original VAs, and with the game itself being a game surrounding a LICENSED entertainment show as it is, being HEAVILY pushed to production limits. I legit think that people should even be grateful there WAS a language other than english to begin with. This isn't a fresh concept, it's based around a TV show, and that puts it IMMEDIATELY into trickier circumstances right from the get go.

And then there's someone REALLY up in here trying to agree. Y'all must not watch anime or anything because watching a show or hell, even playing whole GAMES with your native language on the UI and or subtitles, but the actual audio being another language is NOT a bogus idea.

People need to seriously suck it up, or go ahead and miss out, not like you really brought anything to the table to begin with. A regular sensical person won't let something this stupid stop them, ESPECIALLY if they understand the language to begin with. Or hell, it may not be VERBALLY in your language but again, there are subtitles. Do like a lot of people do, and just read those.

Why should I be grateful that a game from the most profitable children's TV franchise ever only contains 2 dubbed languages? SpongeBob is dubbed in many many more languages then just those 2 and by not including those languages the developers are pretty much showing that they don't care about this game. Going above and beyond is too much asked from them apparently. If they don't want to put more then the bare minimum amount of effort into this game then they should give up on it and let another studio that does care work on it. These guys clearly ain't capable of delivering a quality product if this is the best they can poop out after all this time.

No I'm boycotting this game because it's developers are too lazy/moronic to include more spoken languages besides English and German. You're seemingly forgetting that this game is based on a show that has voice casts all over the world and that Nickelodeon has enough money to have every cast be included in this game. But instead they decided to cheapen out on this game and to only include the bare minimum amount of spoken languages.
