Help with burning the final doll

I just got this game but I really like it so far! I have only done single player mode though, which is very challenging. I was FINALLY about to win, I had burned 7/9 dolls and had the last 2 in the boiler room with me. I burned the 8th doll and heard a demonic roar from Emilia. I picked up the last doll and was frantically trying to burn it, but because video game logic, only 1 doll can burn at a time and the 8th one was still going. Emilia instantly knew where I was, flew in the door and insta killed me with no way to avoid her or calm her down.

So my question is, how the HELL are you suppose to do this?!

Sounds like bad luck that she came directly to you. While searching for cursed dolls, try to move pacify dolls closer to the boiler room. I like to always keep one nearby, whether it's near the stairs or in the room with me.
