Why do pets need to have collision?
Seriously. I'm trying to manage and and chop down weed stems and every time i have to throw a stack I'm carrying down to do something like eat or chop down another plant my pet just runs over it and the pile would just flying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everywhere.

Not to mention when I'm climbing up a narrow path or stairs and have to move back sometimes I'll bump right into the damn thing and fall 100ft to the bottom. Why is there collision on pets? What purpose does it serve? Or better yet. Why not have a command to get them to stay the ♥♥♥♥ in one place so you can do your ♥♥♥♥ without them constantly running into you?

I personally never take them out of the base, but that could be useful, the only issue I see is your pet getting mugged by spiders and ants, well that's only for aphids and weevils but aphid's are the only pet you should take out of your base, and red ant for hauling strength.

I was so happy when my aphid ran away, I didn't have pet housing unlocked yet and it was so annoying. Now when my character comments on an aphid pet, I run it down.

They fall under the map too quickly with collision off. So if we were to turn it off the amount of fixes is significantly high.

Its not just like 1 bug its like 80, just currently not in the plan for development

Thank you for the answer. With that in mind as I've said, what about an option or command to make them stay in one place while you do stuff? Even with potential bugs attacking it, I presume it would be an "at the player's own discretion" type of ordeal.

Alter Schwede, so unfassbar kreativlos!

How about giving the Pets the Option to "stay" like we can do with Tully!? Why not just thinking easy instead of complicatet? We need Solutions instead of Excuses!

Can't we add a condition to the death box where the pet teleports to the owner?

Regardless, love the game! Thank you for more updates and balancing <3
