[Guide] How to reset the timer without switching user accounts

[Method 1]:

Trainer provided by GrayCloud FOX!

1. Download the RE2 trainer
{LINK REMOVED}http://www.pcmrace.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Resident-Evil-2-One-Shot-Demo-Plus-4-Trainer.zip

2. Unblock the zip file and extract it.

3. Run trainer

4. Press Numpad 1

5. Enjoy

Disclaimer: Make sure that your numpad is enabled and if the beep sound of activation annoys you:

Mute the trainer in your Volume Mixer (right-click the little speaker icon on the bottom right corner of your taskbar to access it).

[Method 2]:

1. Quit the game

2. Disable cloud saving in your steam settings and delete the data00-1.bin file in Steam\userdata\Your User ID\961440\remote\win64_save

3. Enjoy your renewed 30 minutes

If you're unable to reset your timer due to achievements:

1. Download Steam Achievement Manager at {LINK REMOVED}https://github.com/gibbed/SteamAchievementManager

2. Open SAM Picker.exe and search for the ID "961440"

3. Re-lock your achievements

Disclaimer: Don't use SAM on your main steam account. You have been warned.

So.. is using SAM on your main account really bad or something?
What's the warning actually pertain to? Vac bans?

I completed this one in 17 minutes, then in 6 minutes. I think 30 minutes is enough.

I think only if you are earning achievements with this tool very fast.... I don't think something will happen when you delete some achievements on a single demo a couple of times... but I could be wrong.

Hmm, I take it you have to remove your unlocked achievements and delete that file everytime you want to reset the timer also? I guess it is worth doing it on a dummy account then if there's going to be a lot of achievement back and forth like this.

Umm that achievements prevents you to reset the timer.. So don't use that SAM otherwise your account may under a risk.

Just did. Went from 15:00 to 30:00 in game with a single press of Numkey 1

i tried the trainer but it doesn't work

Edit:Sorry my bad,i executed the exe as admin,another question,is it normal that the timer gets frozen or it has to go down and then repeat the other steps?

Dumb question but did you have your number pad active? I had forgotten to activate mine. You should hear a ding sound when you press Numb 1. Also, disable cloud ave for the game

it works for me tho... star it as administrator before you start the game. this really works! but make for sure a new steam account.
