I am very dissapointed
I bought this game and screen freezes every five minutes while sounds keep playing and no I don''t have potato PC I have GTX 1050 i5 I don't see why it would lag

thats pretty potato to me, get a better hhd or a ssd

I have exacly the same problem than you. My screen is freeze when music still playing and even menu sound works but i dont see nothing and i haven't bad pc:
gtx 1070
i7 7th gen
24gb ram
bad optimization producents... money down the drain

Make sure the game is actually using your graphics card. I had freezing and stuttering until I manually changed the settings to ensure it wasn't using integrated graphics.
