What does setting it to Raider do?

"5.9. Raiding

- All types of Bombers can raid convoy lines, though Maritime Bombers
are the most effective. Position the air unit within strike range of the
convoy, right click on the unit and select Raider. The Bomber will
attempt to raid the convoy, being prevented from doing so if the weather
prevents it, or if the enemy station a Fighter unit within interception
range of the part of the convoy line you are attempting to raid."

ah.. interesting... maybe impacting enemy supply not guarded by fighters as well would have been an interesting mechanic
