Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2

The devs failed us
Its not Take 2, i dont know why everyone glorifies the devs but its pretty clear they were screwing T2 with this game. KSP2 will be continued by real developers. These people had soo long to work on this game and made miserable progress toward their goal.

Indie titles with similar if not more complexity release 2-5x the amount of updates, i suppose its because they actually enjoy what they are making. I think thats exactly why we got the clouds when we did, they hired someone that was interested in KSP and he actually did something...

The developers should have updated this game 20 times by now, if you are going to give us a supposedly early access title you should be updating every week.

The devs lied the whole time, most of what they have said has been crap and we all know it.
The 'community director' ♥♥♥♥ on us all the time, he never answered anything fully because he never had the answers.

Mate you been copy-pasting that link all over the place trying to convince the community that the devs would have completed the game and it would have been perfect years ago if it wasn't for the evil take 2 throwing a spanner in the works.

Obviously take 2 have responsibility for giving this to an inept bunch of devs but the devs also have responsibility for this situation because they couldn't deliver the product yet kept stringing everyone along.

correct, but more specifically a big giant AAA company that tried to make a project appear to be 'indie'

All I can say is people who do development know that "sprint planning" doesn't take months. It isn't a valid excuse for disappearing for months after the For Science release, but that's what was trotted out. I clearly don't know any of the developers and I don't know anyone at T2. I'm just going off the evidence of what they posted, and what they delivered. Their hot fix / patch schedule didn't exist. They were misrepresenting the development cycle. I sure hope someone picks up the game and finishes it, with about a 2 week patch cycle, and about a 3 month new content delivery cycle.

If only life was always this simpleLadies and Gentleman this is what you call "surface-level thinking". The finest example of one who lacks any critical thinking.

Rando gamers on the internet can figure out the history of the developer but a billion dollar HR department can not.

What's your point? We don't have the details that went on behind the scene. You and I have no idea why they made the choices they made.

What part of what I said do you not understand? Neither you, I, nor anyone on this forum knows why they made the decisions they did. You have repeated this same statement in multiple threads, as if repeating it makes it true. All you're doing is speculating. None of us know, nor will we ever find out, why they chose Star Theory. So again, what is your point of make this statement? You have no idea why they made the choices they made.

Did I say I know why they made the decision? no I did not.

This is EXTREEMLY simple to follow

Rando gamers on the internet where able to figure out this developer was dysfunctional but a billion dollar company could not.

That is clearly, logically and obviously A FACT.

Now why they did what they did I have no idea nor care, I am just stating a fact peroid, do not read more into it that what is written.
