Cog flagship completely repaired itself

I had a cog flagship all but completely destroyed (maybe one module was left?), but ran out of grenades, so went back to my drillship to get some, came back to the cog flagship to find it completely repaired, like everything back up and running, all the cogbots back etc...


wth? is this supposed to happen?

You prevent a drillship from going underground as long as you stay on it. Once you leave it is able to disappear. The ship you faced on your return was not a repaired but a newly spawned one.

PleB Hitzgi is right. The old flagship went underground, and new one arrived. We should explain this much better, I will write some notes for future update. What you can do to stop ship from going down is to critically damage the front drill. Keep dealing damage until it switches model to damaged drill. The time it takes depends on the armor upgrade the ship has. But, once you manage to damage the drill enough, the ship can never leave afterwards since COGs dont know how to fix that. The same feature applies to your ship as well, so if you ever find your front drill critically damaged, you have to fix it with repair tool. Otherwise you wont be able to go underground and volcano eruption will kill you.

Concerning the "we should explain this much better" is pretty accurate cause i didn't know you could just damage the drill. I though you'd have to completly destroy the ship or it would always be able to submerge. Good to know tho.
