3D Printers. How?

I've got a 3D printer and some filament rolls. The only crafting option is Empty Filament Roll.

How do I use the printer? Am I meant to empty the roll, or is this only to get plastic scrap. Do I need recipes?

I've read many many many magazines but don't have any recipes for ducks or plastic parts. Anyone know what magazine you need to read? I'm subscribed to them all.

There is an apartment with the printer and it spawns recipes on his desk... I want to say it was in the B building but I run around so much I can't be sure. There is a code lock to get in

All the recipes I seen so far are in usb's they have a orange light.
I found quite a few on top of office desks.

Thanks. The recipes are indeed on orange glowing usb sticks commonly found next to computers.

I can now make buckets... well I'm on my way anyways.

Anything valuable or rare?

I've found the 20L container, the square plastic container (for mushrooms) and buckets. I desperately want the plastic parts recipe which is why I'm spending time on this.

Btw a good location for the usb spawn is Ground Floor Tenement A in the maintenance area.

Kolhola A15 is a solid spot too there is 1 more that can spawn on the floor below or above that one seems more random.
So far I have found 6 recipes and 1 furnace recipe to refill the plastic filament's with 10 plastic scrap.
