Crashes in Windows 7

I'm getting the same error. I played it a few days ago, no problem. Now I come back and it crashes at the main menu. "Grickle102.exe has stopped working" No help from Google either...

I had the exact same problem you are describing. Finally was able to get it to work by running the Direct X setup file in the game folder. Find your Steam location and then go to steamapps/common/puzzle agent 2/Direct X/DXSETUP. After running this, the game started up straight away. I did muck around with administrator privaleges before this so if this doesn't work, try running the .exe as administrator.

I did as you mentioned but it didn't work. The same error message appeared.

The Direct X solution fixed it for me some days ago, but now the game stopped working again and I can't get it running.
