I think you need to specifically state that Chris Taylor and Jeremy Soule must be involved.

My thoughts exactly. And if development does go ahead without them, then I will be strongly against it.

We will not get what we want no matter what with this series from now on. Cynical view, but almost guaranteed to be correct. Do like I do, hit up Spring engine games, buy TA on, play SupCom FA and be happy. The original TA is painful to watch unit pathing but it's still enjoyable to me.

I suppose Mr Taylor could always take it to the next level in any future games. It just probably won't be called "Supreme Commander".

you could always take a look at Planetary Annihilation. Although you will need a pretty decent system to run it.

I doubt they will make a third one after the second one.
i got pa its not too good

Yeah Pa just does not feel right to me at all. Its just not keeping me interested. On paper it sounds amazing, but it just is not doing it in practise. However they are still working on it so it may get better. that being said I have no idea why they are calling it a Beta, a Beta is basically the finished game that is being play tested, this game has major features missing that they add from time to time, that is the definition of a alpha.

While I personally like Sup com 2. I do think supcom1/FA needs a proper sequal.

You can't make someone do something with a petition just because you want them to. If a company decides to make a third Supreme Commander, it will be of their own free will.
yes but knowing that ist wanted will increse the probobility

FA and PA will suffice for now. (I actually like PA....)

I would love a proper sequel to SupCom 1 (not the expansion pack). SupCom 1 had an appealing balance that cast the whole as a tremendously engaging contest. The expansion pack had (mostly) great assets, but something got terribly ****ed with in balancing, and Forged Alliance lost the core integirty of the original. It moved closer to the realm of a quick Red Alert/C&C fest instead of being a brutal, pummelling, mass unit game of future war.

Very true. If you forget to do something early on in a game, then you will be basically screwed for the rest of it.
It needs to be more balanced.
Chris Taylor talks about Kisckstarter, Gas Powered Games surprising acquisition by, and the future of PC gaming.

Is Chris Taylor developing Total Annihilation 2?
