Trophy and question to facts

Hello.

I have played True Fear Part 1 and then True Fear Part 2. There should be a trophy for Comeback but it didnt pop up.

The trophy Boss II says that all achievements has to be played with one profile. Is this true? I need the Comeback trophy and the one for all facts.

How do I know what is missing? I dont have all facts but I dont know how I can control that I ve got everything in my file case.

Can someone help me?

The PS4 trophies dont sync so they are not shown in my list.

Hello

The 'Welcome Back!' achievement will pop up if you have the save file of the first game on your pc/ps4 while playing the second game. It will pop up when you exit the game and re-open it for the second time.

As for the facts achievement, it is not only the journal facts. you need to click on everything in the environment to read Holly's comments on it, not only once as well, she has many comments and thoughts about everything around her, if you read those along with what she collects in the journal then you'll get the achievement.

I don't know about PS4, but I doubt they will sync on steam.

Same here, only achievement I still need. I played both True Fear 1 and 2 twice now but still no 'Welcome Back' trophy. Anyone else having problems with this? It's a bit frustrating not to be able to get that 100% on achievements :-).

This is the only trophy I'm missing here, as well. I made sure I had a profile in the 1st game with all in-game achievements, and even named the save file in the 2nd game the same. Still nothing. Does it have something to do with the handful of bugged trophies on 1? Are they keeping it from registering that it's a completed save?

I installed the game on "Local Disk D", not the normal installed folder. Is it the problem?

Hello, guys. I've found the solution. So apparently the 1st game is the problem here, we just have to download the old version of the 1st game then finished it (I used it to unlocked 8 bugged achievements too on the newest version), then just casually open the 2nd game.
Note: I used the same profile in-game name (Yukana27) for 1st & 2nd game, maybe you should try it as well? Just in case.

Can confirm that after 100%ing the first game using my solution that Yukana linked to, I also got the Welcome Back achievement. I used the same name as the profile that I 100%ed the first game on, and then after playing Part 2 for a bit (until about Act 3), I quit and immediately got the Welcome Back achievement. Next thing I'll look into is the facts achievement.

edit: just noticed that I actually used a different profile name than any of the ones I used for Part 1, curiously enough. So apparently the name doesn't matter after all, and it just has something to do with Part 1 being buggy.

Very nice, next step is 4 U to try remembers all the steps from beginning to the end since the 2nd game is a lot harder due to back & forth steps between areas. When U finally can masters it, pls proceed to the expert diff & give us what U could get. If still no progress, I planned 2 post my own facts check that I collected & screenshotted after finished this current play of mine.

As I said earlier, maybe what @Feena said was true. That it's important to check all the little details & click on everything U can see in the game. I noticed something like that existed in this 2nd game. For example, when we pick the wrench & face mask on the frozen ice, that ghost face appear right? 1st Holly's comment was "what the hell?" then changed to "did I just see that?" when we try to click at the hole of that frozen ice again. For me, that last achivement still unobtainable =_=

I've just 100%ed Part 2, complete with the Collector and Boss II achievements.
You don't need to click on everything -- observations do not count, only journal entries do.

There are two entries in particular that are easily missable: one, a lock of hair from HER while you're searching for blue books in the lab. You have to let the light turn off by itself twice before you find the last book. The second time, when you return to the lab to switch the light back on, you'll get the entry; the other one is when you complete the game, there is a figurine in the menu near the curtain.

I got Boss II from 100%ing the game on a single profile. I then got the Collector achievement after clicking on the last figurine in the menu.

The following walkthrough was very helpful in ensuring that no entry goes unnoticed (some entries require multiple clicks because they could be bugged, and some involve triggering a trap or puzzle before solving it). Also, it is imperative that you listen to all audio files and not skip them.

EDIT: it is also important to read every e-mail, and to also send every e-mail that has that option.

Here are all the evidences I collected, this may help along the way (but the best is still to follow the walkthrough I linked above):

The journalist:
11 pieces of evidence in all, 10 of which are hard-to-miss tapes, and the other is a Paranormal brochure.

HER: 4 pieces of evidence: Two unmissable entries ("First time I saw HER" and after getting fake-stabbed in the enlightenment room), plus a creepy drawing ("Jack and Alex saw her too") and a strand of her hair from the jumpscare in the lab that I mentioned above.

Dark Falls Asylum: 11 pieces of evidence:
Group photo, photo of Jack and a colleague, letter by Kyle Chuvache to Ms Stonehouse, 6 portraits of previous supervisors (Cooper, Prigg, Liptak, De Costa, Sachs, Smith), statue in the greenhouse, burning door on the second floor of block B. I think most of these or maybe even all of them are unmissable.

Emma Clarke: 2 pieces of evidence: her e-mail to her mom and her photo.

Jack Smith: 3 pieces of evidence: his photo, the floppy disc, and a sketch of him, Dahlia and the doctors.

Charles Laudius: 3 pieces of evidence: his portrait in the lobby of Block B, and two letters to Christopher Smith.

Alex Evans: 5 pieces of evidence: his note for Emma about her password (+ the actual password that you get from the office), photo of Alex and Jack, Alex's e-mails to Emma, his letter to Emma about Jack and Ms Stonehouse, and his note about how Jack had changed. Most of these are unmissable.

Dahlia: 3 pieces of evidence: a photo of her, mom and a doctor (with HOLLY scratched into it), photo of the sunset, and finished photo of her and the doctors from a puzzle. Not missable.

Igor Kalt: 8 pieces of evidence: his note aboute Christopher and Jessica, his note about the patient from 223, a photo of him (easily missed! You need to click on the plaque with his name on it near the "teddy bear" room on the second floor), his note about night shifts and the skybridge, his note about the fire and Dahlia, a photo of his corpse + his dying note, an e-mail sent to him by the admin, and an e-mail send to him by Alex.

Nurse Rachel Simmons: 2 pieces of evidence: photo of bouquet and picture + her note to Jess from the admin building, and her unfinished note to Albert about the fire.

Kyle Chuvache: 5 pieces of evidence: his note about Ms Stonehouse and Dahlia, his e-mail to his wife, his wife's e-mail to him, another e-mail to his wife, and a note about Dahlia's file.

Mother: 3 pieces of evidence, all of them are unmissable tapes.

Christopher Smith: 5 pieces of evidence: a bloody brochure for Dark Falls, and four notes of his (three volunteers, Rorschach test, the fire, his new office).
