I've been chatting with Elena last night and we both had some crazy theories. The game is amazing but left us with many unanswered questions.

My first question is who is THE THREE, is the evil girl is one of them? We still don't know who is this person who's been following Holly and I doubt she is Dalia now.

The mother mentioned a ritual in the last message she left. The developer Dimme mentioned before that the movie 'Rosmary's Baby' inspired him to make this game. I've seen the similarity.

Why would an asylum have a demon statue?

Who is Olivia Harper?

Could everyone be invisible? I mean Holly made something and drink it, then everything has changed, she could either be invisible or dead? What made me think of this theory is the typewriter, someone clearly is typing on it, either a spirit or someone invisible! Also, the evil girl can be seen through the security camera! (And night vision)

I hope the Journalist is not dead and THE THREE are taking care of him, in that place where the girl in the last scene said she will show us it? She said she will show us something, and I wonder what it is.

I've only played the game once, I'm planning to play it again to understand more of the story. Share your thoughts and theories here and hopefully we will get our answers in the extra episode as well as the third game!

We don't actually know if Jessica is dead. Even Christopher is only assuming, because they never found a body. For all we know, Jessica is still alive.

I still believe that there were two fires. The newspaper from 1984 does not specify it was Block A that burnt down- maybe this is what happened to Block C? It was only after this fire that the rumours of being haunted started, from what I've gathered. I think SHE might have died in that fire, along with whoever else. (Regardless of whether SHE might be something else, and it was only a host body that died, because I do think we're dealing with something more impressive than revnants or poltergists.)

With the Block A fire (that I still think Christopher set, based on the note from Charles), we have an even higher body count now and a lot more ghosts, potentially.

Yes, after my analysis of yesterday, I did came to the conclusion that there were two sets of fires.

I don't know how would I upload the entire pleyade of my latest discoveries on this thread, but I will try. Let's see.

TF 2 – New Discoveries (Part 1)

1. The vision camera is the journalist’s! You get it after you listen to his comment about Dan not charging his vision camera. The camera was charging in the Guard Booth when Holly arrived! How quick can a night vision camera charge?

2. When Holly uses it, the camera is only half charged!

3. Employee working on a bridge when he heard Jessie, the nurse that died in the Block A fire. He dropped his tool box on the ice. The only tool box which is on the ice is the one under the Keep Out bridge!

4. The gun shot and the red shawl were heard near the small Keep Out bridge. The red shawl was flying from the West to the East.

5. Sending Alex to retrieve the tool box. Seems like he was at the Guard Booth.

6. Journalist at the bridge (which?) installing his tripod when he heard the gate opening. He got in or he got out?

7. Holly comments that the journalist’s incident happened a few days ago. If the journalist left his camera in the Guard Booth then that explains his rush to enter the asylum. But he went missing months ago!

8. „I left you like 15 messages”, „come in the morning”. The journalist hasn’t left for a long period of time. „Can you even hear me?”, „YOU send me the memo” (about the asylum gig), „what do you mean you never heard of Dark Falls Asylum?” SHE manipulated Dan’s voice into making the journalist come here. For what reasons if she is looking to unify with her sisters?

9. In the beginning cutscene, the sky is dark as if it’s the middle of the night. When Holly wakes up after the car accident, the sun is setting. Was Holly unconscious in all this time or did she travelled back in time, in the Journalist’s timeline, just a few hours after him. There is fresh blood all over the Guard Booth and the Greenhouse, while several items point to the journalist already being in that place. A parallel player.

10. Holly was „curious” (her exact word) to try the microfilm torture room. So it is like fun to her.

11. Kyle Chuvache’s desk is right behind the computer from the reception area in Block B.

12. Igor Kalt is a „nurse” and „supervisor” that has his desk in the same Block B, but near the Skybridge A. In contradiction to what Feena fashioned the Skybridge A does not extend to the Administration Building, but behind the Block B. There’s another construction behind it.

13. Why is Alex told the correct answers in the Rorschachs Test? The right way to unlock doors or the right to participate in torturing patients? A torture room requires to arrange a stain in order to unlock a its door.

14. What kind of sound is the journalist talking about? The gate closed. He was in the park when it happened. If by park, they mean the fountain area, then it is just like Holly. The gate closed behind her as well.

15. Alex was hooking the lights up for the gala. Alex will drive Emma Clarke to catch the 6:46 train.

16. Emma tells that she will stay for the gala. Rachel talked her over. Ethan (Williams) asked for Alex about the P-2501 device.

17. Emma talking to her mother about a girl that didn’t want to go in the Torture Rooms, but she was eager afterwards. She was humming in the hallway too. At first Dahlia didn’t want to go in those rooms, but afterwards SHE was fascinated and made Dahlia look at the poor patients suffer. (The Entertainment).

18. Ethan complains „if they still even make those”. That means P-2501 is expensive and rare, manufactured by a company.

19. Alex is leaving things unattended, not Jack from the first game.

20. Emma telling Alex that he should come at the gala.

21. Smith tried to fire Kyle. Hearing about this, Kyle wanted to go to the press, „what is happening isn’t right”, „I am going to stop it and save all those people”. (How many were there?)

22. Maggie (Kyle’s girlfriend) talking Kyle over his resignation. They needed the money.

23. Maggie calling Kyle „Kay”, while Kyle is calling Maggie „J.”

24. Smith bragged about Kyle being his best assistant.

25. Kyle would want Smith to say that at the gala tonight!

26. I’ve send the message to Maggie. It had a Send button and I have pressed it. The message is delivered.

27. I’ve send the print to Smith using the Send button.

28. That is why some messages had the opened envelop and some messages had a writing pen, because they were not yet sent to their destinations.

29. The electric-ring was made by a smartass from Room 223.

30. The „old fart” from Room 221 stole the lenses. The red, green, blue lenses.

TF 2 - New Discoveries (Part 2)

31. Could there be a triple room like 221, 222, 223 hosting the Three? (The Three are able to cheat tests in order to survive)

32. Rachel „stormed away” with what key? Why must Smith talk senses into her? Emma’s plastic rock reveals the Skeleton Torture Room key. The one were the devices ask the doctor if the patient is warm, well-fed and alive.

33. Why wasn’t Dahlia allowed to hear the tapes? Why wasn’t Elisabeth allowed to pass them to her daughter? Why did Smith wanted salvage them, though? The tapes talk about being doomed and SHE will make you find her, if she can’t find you.

34. The Hallway of Block B:
a.) Three puzzles / Rorschachs Test vis-a-vis the Shower.
b.) Tree wire puzzle / Microfilm Test vis-a-vis the Display Photo.
c.) Mask puzzle / Electric-ring Test vis-a-vis the Skeleton Test.
d.) The Enlightment Room, surrounded by mirrors upon an electric chair.

35. Charles and Elisabeth made a ritual. She was terrified of everything. Charles went white when heard of the result, triplets.

36. Seeing through someone else’s eyes. Why doesn’t Holly have a reflection when she is looking on the Enlightment Room mirror? Is she someone else then? She did say that she is looking through the eyes of a child. It might be Dahlia since she is supposed dead. The dead do not possess shadows.

37. „Someone above the mighty Laudius” when doing research on the Three.

38. The night vision camera battery is low when you use the elevator key of the Admin..

39. The broken-legged furniture from the Greenhouse. Someone has found the dark light lamp there, the one from Kyle’s desk when reading the invisible ink Emma had to figure out on Alex’s request.

40. Holly cannot really see without lights.

41. night vision camera died in the basement of Administration Building.

42. Journalist is talking about „there is someone in the tank”. What tank is he talking about? The two steamy boiler tanks in the boiler room under the Aministration? His jacket is there, though.

43. The hoax was „long ago”. It feels and looks like he was hours before Holly. Car crach made Holly jump in another timeline, she is hours behind the journalist. Since the car crash or after viewing the wonderful landscape from the Greenhouse, Holly started to see everything through other people’s eyes and/or feels a time shift around her or she becomes the other person and makes the same steps they have done in their own timelines.

44. The Bartender figurine explains Holly’s supernatural power to live through one person, to see what the other is seeing, to feel the environment around her just the person has done, and to see the other person’s timeline as it was.

45. Holly is a Time Shifter without knowing. She wonders if there were many deaths at the gala. By what? Fire or massacre?

46. The Star Gate gives Holly the sensation that something has happened there. She has feelings of deja-vu. At the Guard Booth, in the upper-left monitor, we could see Holly fainting in the Hidden Library. Holly recalls „something happened here, something bad”. So something bad will happen to Holly in Part 3, if that part will continue Part 2 from where it ended.

47. „New machines are delivered to Block B.” Ethan scolds Alex for hidding the P-2501 device in the Shower Room.

48. Smith doesn’t like Rachel. What does he means when he says about her to „pretend a little longer”. Rachel doesn’t want to move into Jessica’s desk.

49. Alex also heard HER. SHE wanted revenge when talking to Jack. What did SHE told Alex?

50. Charles Laudius recommended Smith’s candidature as Jessica’s replacement.

51. There is not a very good relationship between Laudius and Smith. „Stay on schedule”.

52. Why was Jessica in a hurry to put the photo where Dahlia was watching one of the Three tortured together with her letter in a case? What did Jessica wrote in that letter? Jessica hasn’t finished it. Jessica feared that no one will believe her so she attached the photo.

53. Holly says: „I remember this ornament from the flashbacks.” Only people who had that past can have flashbacks regarding it. Holly has flashbacks of other people’s pasts.

54. Besides Jessica’s letter, there is a star-shaped key. How did that got in there? Maybe Jessica put it sometime after the letter, or SHE has put it there.

55. Who wrote the letter? Jessica or Rachel?

56. The 6:46 train was supposed to be taken by Emma Clarke.

57. Who is Albert, the one Jessica is addressing to? Why is the letter appearing in Rachel’s section?

58. Dahlia alive after the fire. Mother was right.

59. So it is Rachel who wrote the letter, because she „stormed away” with the key from the Skeleton Torture Room and threw it in the fountain.

60. In the beginning cutscene it is pretty much the middle of the night. When we start playing the game, it is evening. Has Holly lied unconscious nearly a whole day after the car crash? Either time discrepancy or time shift.

TF 2 - New Discoveries (Part 3)

61. When you enter the Projector Room vis-a-vis Jessica’s Room, you can see SHE looking back at you. SHE has a shadow. You will be surprised to see that shadow. If reminds one of Goblinz’s Facebook image of Dahlia behind a closet door. Or SHE might be a Queen of some sort with a crown on her head. Hence the Medieval King in the cemetery under the house in Part 1.

62. The car crash, Holly’s feelings towards the Journalist:
a.) „hoax long time ago” = what she knew about him.
b.) „feels or looks a few hours” = she has arrived in the journalist’s timeline.

63. Throughout the entire game, Holly experiences time shifts:
a.) the car crash.
b.) her headache during the Greenhouse landscape.
c.) she hasn’t slept for two days = day/time confusion.
d.) she isn’t asking what happened to the night.

64. In my vision, the Skybridge does not lead to the Administration Building like Feena says, but it leads behind Block B. Follow the corridors and in-game map.

65. Why is Smith redecorating his office?

66. In the Projector Room, the employees are yet to finish the mural. They haven’t finished it yet.

67. The journalist’s jacket is in the boiler room. There is hole like we have seen in Heather’s house. Probably he got dragged in there as Heather was dragged in the basement. Hopefully, he escapes.

68. The light poles at the fountain:
a.) The left light says: Block A on the left, ---- on the right. (Block C?)
b.) The right light says: Administration ahead, Block B on the right.

69. How cold is outside? The water has frozen in the fountain.

70. Started game for two days, when I got back the night has already set in. I could have explored in the dark? When you get to the Administration and the cutscene plays, you are unable to play in other areas.

71. In the Enlightment Room, did SHE attacked Holly or was it an omen? HER face was „torn from inside out” as Holly describes. Either SHE is vengeful, or SHE doesn’t like something.

72. Did the dagger went through Holly? It is on the broken mirror with a message on it. The dagger was in Holly’s bag and now it is pummeled so deep in the chair/mirror that it cannot be taken away from there.

73. Broken window on one side of the Greenhouse, is somebody inside now? We know the Journalist left his bag there.

74. In what order did the Journalist do all these things (within the game)? His jacket is in the boiler room. SHE is „torn from the inside out”, SHE was upset because she lost the journalist, he arrived in the Greenhouse.

75. A similar hydrant from the Grandparents’ house could be seen on the second floor of Block B.

76. Near the three doors, there are three files with names written in red ink: „Teacher”, „Important Man”, „Doctor”. Who are they? From what I know, when someone says teacher, people will automatically assume it is a female person. When someone says doctor, people will automatically assume it is a male person. Important Man is self-explanatory. So that means, in order, Teacher Olivia Harper, Important Man Charles Laudius, Doctor Christopher Smith.

77. There is a newspaper clip in the Left Room about hacking paint with soda. What date does it have?

78. The Left Room patient is a man. He wears suits. The wardrobe with suits and the music box. He does like noises. He remembers „it was a call”. „They come again”, „Why do they always come when I rememmber?” Who are they? Why do they come whenever he remembers something? Either, they want to know what he is remembering. Or they want to shock him into forgetting about his identiy or even numbing him so as not to expose the truth.

79. Girl in the wall is happy when dancing. Is she dancing as a ritual? Does she like noise? Or music? She is „bored with that old hag tied to bed”. „She shouldn’t be with her.” Why is that? Is that Elisabeth tied to the bed because she is thought to be crazy or someone else being exposed to SHE’s evil nature?

80. „They come again.” He is afraid of them. They are doing something to him.

81. Girls (plural) are playing together.
a.) Girl in white = dancing.
b.) Girl in black = pointing to the painting (screaming head in mists) on the wall. Dahlia/SHE says that the painting is a key (to solve the small well in Smith’s office to get time capsule).

82. Who are these two girls?
a.) One of the Three + Dahlia.
b.) Holly + Dahlia.
c.) SHE + Dahlia.

83. They saw the Left Room Man’s drawing. „Take me to that room again”. The torture room. He hears noises in his head because of too much torture, shock and pressure.

84. How can they punish the Left Room Man if the drawing is not in his room, but in the Right Room?

85. The letter near Igor Kalt’s door says „Smith has restricted access inside the asylum.”, „Door to the skybridge unlocked this morning, is someone coming in at night?” It’s night, then it must be the Journalist or Holly taking the same path as we do now. Igor Kalt was still alive when Journalist or Holly were performing this actions, probably.

87. The Fire, Jessica (1984) and the Massacre, Smith (1994), exactly 10 years apart.

88. Someon from the chained room (the Middle Room) left here for over 10 years.

89. In the room where the music box plays, there is nothing on the bed at first, after SHE disappears, there is something on the bed. Or was it always there? That trunk, what’s that?

90. How did the Left Room Man knew about the drawing on the wall since it is glued on the Right Room.

91. „Girl in black keeps pointing and saying that the drawing is the key.” Either is SHE or another girl that lived with the Trio. The girl in white is Dahlia in the Middle Room, who likes to play and dance.

92. There are three rooms. How many people are living there? The man on the Left Room, the two Girls and an old hag in the Middle Room, and another man in the Right Room. There are a total of five people in those rooms on the second floor of Block B.

93. Typewriter is typing on its own in the Right Room. Someone else from a different reality is using it. Or used it. „I know who I am” is printed/typed all over the desk. Someone is desperate to preserve their identity. Either the experiments leave the person without memory, or they are trained to forget their identity. Holly is forgetting her identity or Dahlia/SHE is possessing her more often.

94. What did Charles said after he suddenly became calm?

95. The drawing. Smith brought paper and crayons and encouraged patient to express himself. „He glued the papers to the wall and painted over them,” the face in the mists. This is the Right Room Man.

96. Why is the ceramic prefiguring the Administration Building cracked at the entrance of the left dome?

97. The books and magnetic letters puzzle in the Right Room scream for MERCY. The letters rearrange into a „no”, possibly by HER. What SHE wants to say is that there is no mercy.

98. Smith is happy that he will get a big budget with Laudius at his side. It will make him the best of his profession. „We cannot give those people happiness.”, „Not until we teach them what happiness is.”

99. Smith doesn’t want to hear his patients’ stories, he takes comfort in what theory says about the stains of the Rorschach Test. He takes comfort in the manuals of his profession, rather than hear his patients’ words and hearts.

100. How could Holly know if someone is drunk at the time they are writing this letter?

TF 2 - New Discoveries (Part 4)

101. Reconstructing the dialogues of the typewriter:
a.) SHE: „Hello.”
b.) Journalist: „me?” (he seems to be timid, first time trying this thing)
c.) SHE: „Yes you, stop wasting paper, you idiot! You want to get out of here, don’t you?”
d.) Journalist: „yes” (seeing he gets a response, he tries typing again, also timidly)
e.) SHE: „Bring me the assembled lense and I shall help you.”
f.) Journalist: „I didn’t...” (he knew about it and came back bare-handed, or he tried and couldn’t find it)
g.) SHE: „I hid the first part in the Cortical Circurity book in the entrance with the other books.”
h.) Journalist: „I don’t need your stupid lense.” (he is revolted about finding something he cannot find, he is willing to try something else in order to escape from here)
i.) SHE: „Watch the sky and walk through the stars.” (she continues her instruction)
j.) Journalist: „what? I cut myself open. I didn’t find any lense! Get me out of here!!! I’ll die here.” (he thought she was talking about the entrance of the Greenhouse, that’s why he cut myself, that’s why all the blood in different locations, he thought he is going to die in the boiler room, he was near the Administration because he thought he should look at the literal sky and stars, not the star gate inside the building)
k.) SHE: „Good. You wasted all the paper. Now go die.”
l.) Journalist: „I am sorry. Are you there? Please help me! Please please please” (he is despaired now, we don’t know what he did after this, until we get to the developing film)

102. Holly acknowledges that the Journalist was having a conversation with the „typewriter”.

103. The Greenhouse build for a different, hidden purpose.

104. Jessica Sachs was the director of the asylum between 1984-1993, Christopher Smith was its director only in 1994. The fire might have been in 1984, while the massacre happened during Smith’s government, 1994. There are exactly 10 years between the two catastrophs. But if Jessica died in the fire, how could she govern the asylum until 1993? The fire must have happened between 1993 and 1994. That would mean that the massacre happened after 10 years, in 2004. After another 10 years, Holly receives letter from Heather.

105. As wonderfully pointed out by my friend, ms52, Dahlia was described as uncontrollable with fits of rage and violence. Or was this HER? If Dahlia is so violent, why is her voice so smoothing and sweet at the ending cutscene of Part 2?

106. This is another wonderful thing pointed out to me by ms52, Charles Laudius is C. Laudius. Together they pronounce Claudius, Hamlet’s deceitful and evil uncle who took over the throne of Denmark in Shakespeare’s play. It seems that Dimmie Azu was inspired by this character and modelled Charles Laudius after him.

107. Another thing that ms52 told me about is the fact that Grandmother Martha from Part 1 knew about HER. She knew about the fact that SHE hates light and that „things like this just happen”. Was Grandmother involved in this ritual? Because she is not so much concerned about Elisabeth’s fate then Grandfather is.

108. Back to my discoveries. Just like Heather, the Journalist is caller HER an IT. He cut himself as he entered the Greenhouse. So he has been there.

109. Jessica was director, Rachel was the headnurse. Both found the truth. Jessica started the fire, pressumably died there; while Rachel wanted to expose the truth about the massacre.

110. The tree was cut opn recently, so the Journalist used it for a reason.

111. Block A went into flame. Employees hang instructions on a symbol that is engraved on the lamps of each building. The employees seem to know about the Symbols, but they don’t know their meaning.

112. What we learn from Alex:
a.) Jack just divorced.
b.) Jack met Elisabeth and fell in love.
c.) Emma doesn’t like Elisabeth, Alex adds „She can be a bit unstable and weird”.
d.) Ethan made photos of Emma. Alex will keep one for himself.

113. Greenhouse is supposed to host something.

114. What we learn about Igor:
a.) he is in charge of Block B after Block A burned down.
b.) he looked after the Three and Dahlia.
c.) Holly knows that he died in agony. How could she if she hasn’t met his frozen body?
d.) he is the only one not slaughtered by Jack.

115. Holly heard screams bellow the globe in the center of the Library when entering it for the first time. Was it HER? Was it the Journalist taking the drug?

116. Chuvache writes that Elisabeth interned Dahlia, „later at several times” she wanted to remove her, but was blocked by Prof. Smith.

117. „Miss Stonehouse mentioned something strange today.” Employees are not aware that she has two more daughters besides the Dahlia. Chuvache is amazed to find out about this and wonders how someone in her condition is allowed custody of all the three girls. In what kind of condition you are not allowed to take care of children? Is Elisabeth truly derranged? Or it is what other people think based on Laudius’ lies?

118. One wooden pillar of the barrister around the globe in the Library is broken. Holly broke it while fainting at the gala in the beginning and ending of the game.

119. What we learn from Igor:
a.) he complains that although Block A went on fire, no one tries to rebuilt it.
b.) instead of rebuilding the burned down building, they went on installing the statue in the Greenhouse, electrocuting the Three to death, while Dahlia is watching them suffer.
c.) Igor hates Dahlia, Jack is defending her.

120. After the fire, it seems that Claudius and Smith have begun their operation. Unifying the souls after seeing that Dahlia came back to life and all the rest as mentioned above.

121. After obtaining Psyche symbol, SHE appears at Smith’s office yelling at Holly. Was it a warning? Or a Do Not Enter? Is SHE trying Holly? Does SHE really want to unify with Holly? Why does SHE do all these things if she wants to? Or is it Dahlia that is warning Holly of the dangers she might encounter on her way?

122. Why is Holly always trying to convince herself if something is real or not. When she gets to the axe, she freaks out as if the apparitions and strange occurences until now did not frightened her at all. Are we playing as Holly or Heather?

123. Why all this charade if Block A’s door is inexistent? Is it only to make her shot the gun and use the shawl as we hear and see in the beginning of the game?

124. A diary page appeared near the microwave after the axe hit the elevator panel.

125. Igor complains about a „smartass from 223”, about a „medicine” that „got him here and can allow him to go back”.
a.) the Journalist is already ahead of Holly.
b.) Igor is talking about the Journalist being interned in Room 223. This is what will happen to Holly when she will travel in time.
c.) the Journalist has stolen equipment from the lab, for what reason? To be transported back?
d.) Ethan installed the digital lock to prevent the Journalist from stealing other equipments.

126. Alex tells Jack not to leave things unattended like the CD and hack tool „laying around”. Curiously, Ethan tells Alex not to leave the P-2501 device „laying around” in the Shower room from Block B.

127. Jack leading his own investigation when „he snapped and go on a murder spree.”

128. Igor Kalt died frozen to death. He has a pen in his hand. This might mean that he died while writing the last letter in which he talks about:
a.) „Everybody is drinking” (present continous, something is happening now). So the gala is just taking place in the Administration Building, while he is in his office writing this letter now.
b.) „I’m watching those loonies.” While sitting in his office and writing this letter, he is still supervising the patients. Most probably, Dahlia and the Three.
c.) „Stupid girl keep moaning.” Dahlia is moaning. She usually stops, but now she’s going on.
d.) Igor supervised Dahlia while punching the „old hag” in the head. After doing so, he went in his office and wrote this letter.
e.) „Dahlia usually makes the connection.” Dahlia usually understands why he is punching the old woman, but she kept on moaning.
f.) seeing that he hushed the old hag and he couldn’t do anything for Dahlia, we went in his office and write in his diary. Then all of the sudden, the door just opened. He seems that he knows this type of action. It must have happened before.
g.) He is capable of making the difference between Dahlia and SHE.
h.) He can hear HER walking towards him. He can hear HER breath. He suddenly can’t move.
i.) He died paralyzed and frozen solid, while the others are at the gala.

129. How could the girl in black know that the key is the painting with a face screaming in the mists of a black fog? Unless it is SHE.

130. The Journalist’s tape was placed inside the night vision camera while he was in the other reality/time or is it somebody else around here?

131. Is the Journalist dying in an abandoned part of the asylum? He doesn’t „want to die alone... Not like this...” Not alone, not like what? In disgrace? In a torture chamber?

132. Holly wonders if she can live a life like Kyle jas, just doing his job, walk patients in, shocking them to death, wheel them back to their room. Why did Holly get this thought all of the sudden? Would she want to be like this? Or was somebody else pondering about this possible future?

133. Block A went in flames:
a.) Jessica is missing. Her body was not found. She is pressumed dead.
b.) All the patients, except Dahlia were relocated to other hospitals. So Dahlia remained in Dark Falls Asylum.
c.) C. Laudius insisted on the „operation going on as usual”.
d.) Having only three patients. Who kidnapped the Three? Laudius?
e.) How can they have just Three patients? Dahlia, as resurrected dead girl, is not counted?
f.) the unknown writer’s experiments are not yet finished.
g.) Laudius says „everything is alright and throws a party” (the gala).
h.) so all of these things are just an „operation”. Everything was planned. It was a scheme. For what?
i.) Laudius may have also planned the massacre. Why go to such a length? To have Holly here? To unify those souls into one just to resurrect a demon god and obtain something from the entity in return of all the hard work?

134. Feeling the heat of the Skybridge door. Holly can feel the past.

135. Dahlia died in the fire, but came back.

136. „A man in the fire” (?) I, for one, heard a woman screaming for „Help!” That woman could be Jessica. Her voice was heard on a bridge.

137. The time capsule was found in a knocked-down statue in the fountain. Why would the time capsule be inside a statue when it is discovered in the small well inside Smith’s office?

138. The time capsule:
a.) it opens in the Future.
b.) the count-down indicates a little under 10 years.
c.) Someone must have been used it, who could it be? Why 10 years?
d.) Holly does not seem affected by it, as if this object is familiar to her.

139. Skybridge to Block A is behind Block B. Follow the hallways and the in-game map, that bridge is not extended towards the Administration, but it is behind Block B, attached to a building that does not appear in any maps or models.

140. It is building behind Block B the New Block A or the Old Block A? Or the Remodelled one?

141. The wind is blowing from West to East. The shawl flew in that direction as we have seen in the beginning of the game. However, it seems coming from behind or from the player’s left arm.

142. „Skybridge to Block A. Inaugurated by Headmaster M. Kaine on November 2nd 1974”.
a.) On November 2nd, True Fear Part 2 was released. 
b.) Where did Dahlia die? In the old Block A or in the new one?
c.) As its name implies, this construction in an Old Block A! (1974)
d.) It is 10 years before the fire and 20 years before the massacre.
e.) What if there were two fires?
f.) Or Dahlia has just died here?
g.) Both Blocks A are ruined, burned and disrepaired.
h.) When the player looks into the Clue page, Holly writes: „Strange. Isn’t Block A on the opposite side of the park? Well, apparently not.”
i.) Holly also writes: „So Malcolm Kaine was the headmaster in 1974.” That means after Abrial da Costa, before Jessica Sachs.
j.) Which is Block A? Is that Block C who got burned as well or there are really two Blocks A which destiny was to be burned?

143. How could someone come with a bycicle and a tool box to repair a bridge? And also hear Jessica’s voice in the fire? Simple, that person was on Skybridge.
a.) How can they drop the tool box and land under the Keep Out gate, the bridge from the beginning of the game?
b.) How could one use the gun so audibly and leave the shawl to fly right above the Keep Out gate when they were used on the Skybridge?

144. Holly feels like if she swaps the two symbols from the two busts in front of Smith’s office, things will change. She a pre-memory or a pre-feeling about this.

145. „I feel like I am here now, and somehow like I WAS here”.
a.) Holly feels strange about this place.
b.) Heather was here.
c.) Dahlia was here.
d.) Holly too was here considering that she is one with these two girls, or one with the Three.
e.) Holly possesses a scattered memory because of all the electroshock therapy.

146. If you put the psyche symbol in the devil’s bust, you will have a painting of Jessica Sachs left there by Smith. If you go to Jessica’s office, the same painting is hang there. Having the same painting in two different locations at the same time.

147. The Future:
a.) the time capsule is said to go in the Future.
b.) if Holly arrived at Dark Falls Asylum, she is a few hours late than the Journalist.
c.) if the psycle emblem took her to a room where Jessica’s portrait is on the wall and Smith’s memoirs are in the small well, then Holly is in another timeline.
d.) Holly travelled with the time capsule in Smith’s timeline or after that time? (Oh, my head)
e.) Why would Christopher place his memoirs in the well when after some years in the future, the book is no longer there, but a message in the time capsule.
f.) „You live in a world we created”, „cured of all fear”, „lay a stone to your tomorrow”. Maybe slay a stone(house) for your tomorrow. Slaying every Stonehouse sister to create a better tomorrow. Now that’s a encrypted message.

148. Holly refers to the small well in Smith’s desk as „something important and personal, like a dream.” Either she used to hide herself or something, or to transport herself in the future. Or she might be under Smith’s skin and sees this well as something personal.

149. Switching emblems can lead to two timelines:
a.) Sante emblem = the past (after Jessica/Smith) and the future (the journalist’s timeline)
b.) Psyche emblem = the future (the now in the game) and the past (Smith’s timeline)
c.) I might be 90% wrong here. Try swaping the symbols and keep in mind what time you are being transported to.

150. The model in Smith’s office must have been „commissioned at the time of construction.” Why is Holly so happy that the model of the asylum is still intact? Probably, it is the first she sees not being destroyed.

151. Olivia telling Smith:
a.) about the demon mask.
b.) „the next day” someone pointed out that one of the masks is gone.
c.) Jessica walk in Block A before the fire.
d.) Olivia describes Jessica as a „righteous idiot.”
e.) Olivia fears that Jessica did even more harm (to their plan, maybe?)
f.) both of them will talk to Rachel tonight at the gala. Rachel will be presented with the offer of becoming the headnurse.
g.) „You should have fired her like I said.”

152. When Holly was stabbed in the Enlightment Room. Maybe that’s how Elisabeth died.
a.) the mother’s picture is on the mirror encrusted on the chair.
b.) Elisabeth might have been tied on that chair.
c.) she might have been stabbed, like we see the dagger going right through the mirror.
d.) or she might have been electrocuted, like we see Holly in the menu titles.

153. The devil bust. How can Holly ask herself if the bust „was stolen from a church a while ago?” Where does she have this memory? Whose memory is this? The mother’s?

154. The model from Smith’s timeline is still brand new. Holly says that she can smell the glue.

155. Symbolically, the Block A model got fire because of a light bulb. A shard of a mirror was a result. That mirror might be the fragment of truth that needs to be uncovered. That shard is the last one to find and stick to the mirror wagon in order to reflect the real Block A.

156. In the debris from Block A, there are two pairs of shoes: the first are grey-blue adiddas shoes and the second are red-pink sandals.

157. The night vision camera seems to be half-charged now. The batteries from Igor’s desk have been either used for something else, or not used at all. Their fuel drained to half. Entities are famously know to drain the power from electronics and batteries in order to manifest themselves in the physical world.

158. A wheel-chair is found on the right hallway of the Hidden Library. In the developing lab we find a SHE figurine tied to a chair called Facing HER. Holly does face her in the dark when SHE runs pass her. Did SHE came along with Holly?

159. Jack has chained ever since he was moved to the night shifts (as desired by Smith). Smith knew that SHE is more active during the night and that their encounter will be fatal. The desired outcome = Jack begins to fight Elisabeth and end’s his friendship with Alex. Smith has exposed Jack to SHE in order to derrange him, to break up with Elisabeth, and possibly killing all those people that began to suspect his directives.

160. What we learn from Laudius:
a.) Christopher Smith wanted to know the origin of the Three „behind” C. Laudius’ back. This means without Laudius knowing of Smith’s actions.
b.) Charles is telling Smith that it’s no need to search for identities or origins.
c.) telling Smith that he has accepted him into their circle. Just like membership in an occult circle.
d.) Smith wanted a huge budget to develop, study and show to the world his findings.
e.) Smith’s only directive now is to keep Dahlia „entertained”. Is Charles confusing Dahlia with SHE? Or is Dahlia truly that macabre?
f.) Smith will get what he and his circle have promised him.
g.) Charles reminds Smith that he is fully involved in this circle and plan „like anyone else”. This means that there are more members of his circle then we know.

TF 2 - New Discoveries (Part 6)

161. Holly thinks that Dahlia was made to watch. But what if Dahlia liked this entertainment? Charles doesn’t use „force”, „oblige” or anything. He uses this „entertainment” word as if it’s a habit. It is like: „Just keep the kids entertained while I get back.”

162. Holly has the same feeling Heather had. „Breath behind me,” „not sure if I want to turn.” Maybe the one we see in the Monitor Room at the beginning of the game is not Holly, but it’s Heather coming to the asylum because of all those invitations. I haven’t paid attention how was Heather dressed when Holly found her body.

163. Holly begins to react like Heather.
a.) at first, she didn’t mind.
b.) then she feels breaht behind her back.
c.) „boards creaking behind her”, as Heather would say.
d.) „am I losing my mind?” The same question.
e.) Holly begins to question her sanity, she even starts wondering if she will find cure around here or anywhere around the world.

164. Because of all this adventure, exposures to the supernatural, Holly now wants to find HER and to confront HER. In so doing, we fear Holly will unify with her sisters.

165. Mother says in tape nr. 3:
a.) „wherever you go, she will find you. And if she can’t, she will make you find her.”
b.) This is in strict contradiction of what Holly thinks about herself. „I choose my own path”. What if even that path is HERS?
c.) mother’s last tape was found in an envelop saying „To Christopher Smith.” The man did say that he won’t allow her to pass the tapes to Dahlia and that he will salvage them for his own good.
d.) If Elisabeth wanted Dahlia to have these tapes just like she planned for her daughters, then that means Dahlia is also doomed as much as Heather and Holly are.

166. Charles creates different perspectives, different realities about an object, a situation or even Elisabeth. By creating the perspective or reality that Elisabeth is crazy, people starts thinking negatively about her, not taking her words seriously. Charles did this so that people will stigmatize her even though she is telling the truth. She is oppressed and silenced because of this stigma Charles has created around her. Her truth will not affect him anymore.

167. Who left the developing film note? Someone was talking about the scans of the demon statue because of its moving arms.
a.) Could it be a living entity entrapped in a statue?
b.) it might be the Journalist because he has experience in working with cameras and film. However, it is likely for an employee to write this note because of the time stamp „Monday” and „throwing them” if the possessor didn’t come to retrieve it.
c.) Holly hopes that the scans are still there. This might mean that she hopes she is in the right timeline. She’s unsure herself.

168. The bottle of wine.
a.) found in Block A debris.
b.) was it the Block A from the Skybridge or the Block A near the Greenhouse?
c.) when you find something, you try it right then. So the wine might have come from the Old Block A.
d.) the wine is 40 years old! It turned into vinegar.
e.) but now it is a wine. How could it turn back into wine if it was vinegar near the Block A debris?
f.) If it is wine now, then that means we are 40 years before the main timeline?? Before it turns into vinegar and before it is found in the debris of Block A??
g.) using the time capsule, we turn wine into vinegar. We go ahead 40 years in the future and we find ourselves in Smith’s timeline.
h.) Smith’s timeline 1994. Turn wine to vinegar 40 years. Going back, we find out that the wine was present in the asylum from 1954?? Let’s look at the Directors List. It was at the time where Jeffry Liptak was director of the asylum.

169. An empty building with a fake door behind Block B as if to thrill Holly in seeking HER even more. Mother: „She makes you find her.”

170. The Skybridge seems to be driven apart, broken apart.
a.) what bridge was meant to be repaired? The Skybridge or the Keep Out bridge?
b.) when the employee heard Jessica’s screams for help as we have seen Holly hearing a man yelling for help, the man dropped the tool box.
c.) the tool box is found under the Keep Out bridge from the beginning of the game.
d.) how could the wind transport Jessica’s scream from the Skybridge until the Keep Out gate if the man was repairing the gate instead?
e.) the gun and shawl were heard and respectively flew from the West.
f.) are these bridges juxtaposed? It cannot be. Are there juxtaposed realities?
g.) the beginning and end of the model are confused/juxtaposed as if they are the same place.

171. SHE can be caught on camera. A normal camera wouldn’t pick up an entity. Either it has materialised itself from gathering so much energy so that it can manifest itself in the physial world, or the entity did not leave the body in which it resides in.

172. Why is SHE always putting her finger before her lips? Why does SHE want silence? Or is it a symbol for keeping secrets? Or it is used for silencing HER future victims? Or not exposing the truths?

173. SHE speaks Latin. SHE left a letter to Holly after the latter watched the camera footage. Demons usually speak Latin.

174. The recipe says that „you can’t see, but there is a remedy.” In spirituality, it is said that those that cannot see are the ones that don’t believe that our world is composed of each and every existing timelines. Our world has all the existing timeliness happening in the same time, in the same reality. We, humans, are not tuned to see them all. Angels and demons see the entire world as it is, but we don’t see it. We can see only our world, our reality, our timeline in which we were born in.

175. Putting the wine in Smith’s timeline to age 40 years into vinegar... When doing this, both emblems stay in their busts and they are not swapped anymore. A juxtaposition of timelines?
a.) in Grandfather’s house from Part 1, Holly’s flower was red. The Holly berries are infested with dark bugs, or „things” as Holly describes them.
b.) if we are in Smith’s timelines 1994 and we place the wine now to turn into vinegar (+40 years), then the year would be 2034??
c.) Who really finds this bottle of vinegar? An employee or the Journalist?
d.) Headaches caused by timelines... again...

176. Why are so many bottles cracked in the developing liquid in the lab under the Hidden Library? Is this where the Journalist cut himself open? He was bleeding since the boiler room.

177. Inside the demon statue there is a chemical that helps users to travel to another plane of existence / another reality / another timeline.

178. Drinking the remedy.
a.) red, green, blue shifting headaches reality.
b.) just like the lenses.

179. Dahlia tells Holly „I just show them things”, „I am going to show them to you now.”
a.) SHE or Dahlia has done something with Heather/Jack/mother.
b.) they didn’t survive her inquiry.
c.) would Holly survive?
d.) at the end of the cutscene, the Enlightment Room’s windows went brighter.
e.) Holly is being shocked/electrocuted by them.
f.) will she survive? Look at the title menu.

180. What was the voice saying when Rachel got to Holly? It was a male voice.

181. The wooden barrister around the globe was intact, but it broke when Holly fainted over it. It happened just like Holly saw in the Monitor Room from the Guard Booth. I wonder who is seeing Holly collapsing on the floor from the monitors now.

182. Dahlia congratulates us. Holly is the first to have resisted until now. She has become the best candidate for the unification process.

183. It seems that when you start playing the game, there is a hidden timer that allows the night within the game to appear. I played the game for a while. I got inside the asylum and it was day time. This I can tell for sure. I’ve left it for two days due to work. When I came back, the night within the game was already on its duty. After the night cutscene ended, I found myself not in the Block B where I was, but in the Administration building. Oh, I really wanted to explore in the dark! :)

In Act 3 of Part 1 after returning to Holly's childhood home, in the cemetery the player character may be adjacent to somewhere other than under the house. After shattering the wall using the red cistern tank, in the first screen beyond the rubble on the upper right beyond an arched glassless window are blue sky, what looks like part of a wooden roof, and closer to the foreground a gargoyle with outstretched wings on a pedestal outdoors. Is that the remnant of a trompe l'oeil mural or an actual vista?

Then on the upper left of the basement cemetery screen starting behind the gargoyle holding the ashes and going almost all the way to the far left hand corner, light streams in from 3 sources nowhere in evidence on the exterior of the house. These rays are not from the well with a deeply redessed cap that will only be broken later. The rays come from the other side of the house, either on Laudius's property line or wherever the cemetery really is if, in fact, it is elsewhere. The left exterior might be on the Laudius side; the right, elsewhere; and the cemetery complex simultaneously in several places, dimensions, or timelines.

I didn't see discussion of this on the TF1 thread and my eyes aren't all that sharp, so if you have an explanation, please, fill me in.

Looking again at that screen in the cementery in Part 1, I noticed high on the right behind some roots another gap to open air that would likely have to be under part of the house if the graveyard's existence in space and time were straightforward. On that basis, I think the sky, roof, and gargoyle on the right are unlikely to be part of a painting. I very much look forward to finding out what sharper eyes than mine observe.

OK, I was going to give my thoughts in your previous 53 points in TF2, but I'll have a look at your latest observations.

I too am replaying the game again, as it now works on Mac, and the graphics are fantastic.

I don't know if I mentioned this before (I always discuss theories with my sister so I don't know if I wrote it down here or not XD)

The mother said he came to her room drunk and told her 'she is doomed' well, everyone been saying to her that no one could enter her room but she said she know what she saw.

What if that person (Chris or whoever was in her room) is actually HER, she, as far as we know, can change her look, according to Jack and even the real estate guy.

Also remember in the first game when the mother said she had a dream (or went to the basement, I don't remember) and opened that coffin and saw something scary. what if SHE was laying in that coffin and her name is Elizabeth too because I recall there was a name in that coffin in the middle.
