Early Access - Known Issues
Hello Survivors, here's a quick rundown of currently known issues of the Early Access version of Endzone - A World Apart.

Known Issues
  • World Tasks: World Tasks that collect more than one resource type are currently ignoring max caps at the moment. When using a World Task like gathering forest plants, which can be berries, mushrooms and herbs for example, the maximum cap for two of these resource types is ignored.
  • Share Codes: Map Share Codes currently don’t affect the new game options “Research” and “Rain Contamination Director”.
  • Scrap Catcher: The point where Salvagers pickup scrap from the Scrap Catcher is currently wrongfully offset.

Savegames
  • During Early Access we can not guarantee savegames to work across updates. We will do our best to avoid broken savegames and ensure compatibility, but there will be cases where we will have to make a clean cut and break support for older files.
  • Closed Beta savegames are no longer compatible with the Early Access release version and can not be loaded from the Main Menu.

UI
  • The Statistics View is currently very rudimentary and not fully implemented. Enhancing this view as well as giving more insights into the state of your settlement will be part of further updates. The first of this kind is planned as a sidetrack in May.
  • We translated the game into several languages right from the start. However, due to the dynamic nature of the game and our fast iteration cycles, some translations may be outdated or wrong. If this is the case we are happy if you could point out any translation issues.
  • Parts of the User Interface are subject to change due to user feedback and internal decisions to improve the overall experience.

Added Main Features
  • Expeditions have been added, allowing players to send out settlers to explore places from the past.
  • New Technologies have been added to the game. This includes new buildings and upgrades as well as an iteration of our take on the game's very first Techtree, and is something you - the community - have been rooting for loud and clear.
  • Scenarios have been added, taskingto fulfil a given task with predefined conditions, e.g. long periods of drought or contaminated rain, and many more.

Bugs
  • looking for some bugs... o_o

The grass set to high is a proper FPS killer

Also any chance the bottom left menu's could be placed on the right side of the screen instead? Or at least have the option to

Minor bug I've encountered with Number of Ruins when you start a new game.
I set to Low when creating a new game but after saving my map, noticed that it's showing up as Medium under Map Settings. A bit unfortunate since I wanted to play on hardest possible difficulty atm but hopefully it can be fixed ^_^

Created other Test games so make sure the bug persisted throughout other saves.

Minor Bug - on VSYNC turned ON the picture lags.
System: Windows 10 x64 Home 1809
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060
CPU: Intel 9750H, 6 Quads

VSYNC = ON
Display = 60Hz
Ratio: 1920x1080

Friezes are visible on the following settings:
1. Window mode = full screen, grass = high
2. Window mode - in a window without frames, grass = high

Friezes disappear:
1. Window mode = in the window, grass = high
2. Window mode = full screen, grass = medium
3. Window mode = in a window without frames, grass = medium

I'm very sad.

Create a game, start to play and screen with image dont show.. only all things but image of the game.

Could you send us your log files? Go to %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Gentlymad Studios/Endzone and .zip the whole folder and sent it to us via mail at support@gentlymadstudios.com

Could it be that Something is wrong with Food too? The moment you have Buildings for your people Food is just going down....also the Changes in Weather are a bit to fast and drastical imo. i mean i have rain 3 days and then over 5 days everything dries out causing even more trouble with getting food .

having issues with food water and houseing can have enough food but water goes quickly or have enough water but no food also it dont seem to matter how many workers i have as if i get enough of one ill never be able to get enough of the other dont matter how many extra workers i add also im getting homelessness with room in house and or vacant lots

yeah seems that needs some balancing imo
Nice little game but I'mm unsure about buying it - i really want to so i can advertise it on my youtube (dont ban me, i bite) but are you guy's fast at releasing the same steam updates onto GOG as well? i heard sometimes developers are slow at releaasing the updates at the same time on GOG & Steam.

and im really waiting for Mr Prepper, Distant Kingdom, Humankind to come out..

I might wait because the game seems very simular to Surviving The Aftermath

whats with the housing system?

10 adults 3 children only families can move into cabin and sturdy homes.(says so on the last line of the description)

I had.

7 cabins, 2 sturdy homes.
6 people homeless.

I destroy cabins with nobody in them

leaving me 2 cabins with 3 people = 6 people
1 sturdy home where 1 person on their own move in!

I build a shelter.

1 person moves in

still 5 homeless..

why did 1 person move into a place the game claims it cant, and why did only 1 person move into the shelter?

In the later period, the workers were not enough. With sufficient resources, no one tried to transport construction resources such as plastic to the water tower construction, resulting in the stagnation of the water tower construction. Because the water tower is not completed, it will further lead to water shortage, resulting in the death of a large number of residents and a shortage of labor.

I wonder if this is a bug. People are harvesting the fields but no food going into bus. No water gathering either even though got like 13 water carries. Just all starve to death and die from thirst since the collectors for food from field or from the citistren is not working right.

hi, the rain storage is full but the carriers don´t fill the main water storage, althaugh the building is next to him. food from fields is also not transported in to the main storage or the market.

This sounds like something we should investigate. Please do the following so we can reproduce and fix the error:

  • Navigate to [%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Gentlymad Studios/Endzone]
  • Zip the whole Endzone folder including the current savegame in which the bug occured and the latest Player.log
  • Send a mail to [support@gentlymadstudios.com] with the attached ZIP-file and a short description of the issue.
