Hey guys, This was a total shock to me - to see the game just gone from the store. In my developer account it says "APP HAS BEEN RETIRED".
I have messages out to Steam and hope that the game is not permanently deleted with all wish lists removed. We have been 100% co-operative and polite and basically willing to do whatever they wanted. I will post when I have a final answer to whether the game is fully banned, I will have some kind of plan B. People will be able to buy the game somehow, we will just lose 61,000 wish lists and go a little nuts due to the injustice.
For now I don't want to Tweet about it or say anything I can't take back in case I can salvage it somehow so this update is just for you guys who check the discussion forum.

Have Steam banned other games that were fine for Twitch, that had quite a lot of wishlists, and that were the work of 100+ people, 75k words translated into 10 languages, etc?

Hey Richard. Exactly my thoughts. It's a real game with a lot of effort put and deleted from steam even w/o some information but 1 man scam 3d sex games will allowed..

To my understanding - finally proven with today's development regarding this title - no wishlist entries of removed games are actually gone. They're just somehow hidden from view.
"Super Seducer 3" now being the fourth wishlist item I even cannot remove from my wishlist myself, because it's invisible there and has been removed from the store. Yet the counter is crystal clear: yesterday there were three titles missing on my wishlist, now there are four (this title included).
There may very well be a legal reason for doing just that (to keep that record). If let's say a title has produced thousands of wishlists (like yours), and a company is suing Valve for removing such a title from the store by themselves (without giving a proper explanation). I don't say you should do that, or this may even be an option, but I'd like to at least point it out. Somehow this incredible injustice must end, has to be fought - in court or not.

You can remove hidden items from your wishlish, don't remember how to do exactly but just google it, there is a few ways.
So we can basically have the worst violence in the world in games, but if you try to teach people some social skills it will get your game potentially banned. What a world we live in.

Hi Guys, yeah the news is the worst possible. The person that I am talking to at Valve has denied all my attempts to beg for another submission. If the wish lists exist in hidden form I guess that means that they could theoretically be reinstated but we have given up hope. I have messaged Gabe @ Valve again and maybe if this gets picked up in the press next week someone might take notice, but it seems like high management has already been involved and decided.

We will most likely try to launch on another store on Tuesday, but part of me would rather not release the game at all, or release it for free, than release it and sell a handful of copies. We will think about what to do over the weekend.

I think suing Valve is unlikely to work, most companies have such water-tight terms that allow them to do whatever they want for any reason. Yes we sent 1.6m visitors to the store page with the understanding that Steam would work with us to publish the game....but we all know that big tech do what they like.

We were never given any clear reasons for the denials of the build. The 2 re-submission attempts included basically the fully censored Twitch build and another build with different cuts where we consulted a lawyer and took his advice. At all times I told them that we'd do whatever they needed and whatever it took. Until the final final banning notice, our contact at Valve said they would either "approve or provide feedback". After seeing some devs being rude with them, I was very sure to always be incredibly polite so their dismissive and curt messages were unpleasant.

So yeah I will figure out what to do, the coders are preparing a build that would be the original intended version. I'll post on Twitter next week and be trying to calm down in the meantime. Lots of people are asking me questions but I'd rather answer them after the weekend when I have a clear idea of what we'll do.

Sad news but please don't choose not releasing at all option and we don't want free game, just release ''full'' version on some other platform or maybe you guys should sale it independently, idk how this works tho.
Maybe try releasing SS3 on GOG, EA Origin, Itch Io and as a last resort, the epic store?
Doug Lombardi of Valve may be able to help your case also.

Yes, as I'm your huckleberry said. Please stay on this obvious "Plan B" and release it somewhere else on Tuesday.
In this case, payment certainly is to consider as some kind of donation for anyone interested in content like this. Not just from a personal point of view.
I'll rather create a new account on another platform. I just want to know what's so upset about it that even Steam's higher management might got involved.

@[O.O]DERP![@.@]
GOG and Epic already rejected it while EA has been on the forefront of the policies which "retired" this title in the first place since maybe 2013 or so (when the more relaxed Peter Moore left and Andrew Wilson took over there). The information regarding GOG and Epic was already given quite some time ago.
Richard I will buy your game anytime just let us know

I understand this sentiment. Honestly yeah if I were in the same situation I'd just want it to get it over with too. Since a kickstarter is not an option either you could set a personal website with a "donate what you want" option.
I ll buy it whereever it can be bought.
