That is true, but somehow, I had no problems getting top scores in the old games, and now I am just average, and I don't think that my perception of rhythm has changed. IMO the problem is that there is no sound/vibration cue when you press the button, so you don't basically hear yourself where you are in the grand scheme of things.
what? there absolutely is a sound when you press the button, and i'd even say that it's too loud
also how dare you call virtual on bad
That said, a lot of physics based mini games are not on this game compared to other games in the series.
Such as: Cee-lo, cho-han, roulette, fishing (not the one in Y0), pool, bowling, pachinko, air hockey, table tennis.
Probably growing pains that comes with the new game engine.
Also Pocket Circuit is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, only ever did it for the Completion and because it has substories tied to it (cant fight Amon otherwise unfortunately)
I never liked the bowling or billiards minigames. Pocket circuit was fun but it had its time.
UFO Catcher is basically easier imo since if you just try to avoid putting it dead center and stab one of the toys with one of the claws you're pretty much guaranteed to win at it or move it closer to the hole. I think it's because the physics system is half broken.
Even though Toylets (Milky Nose) does appear to be tied to framerate, going in with a full bladder (3000 pts) makes it so much harder to control and takes longer for the gauge to fill up. Going in with around ~1500 or so pts (i used 1700) made it trivial even on hard. So I wouldn't say that the game is broken, just the piss poor explanation of it.
You saved me thanks for the tips, Easy with 1500 ish, hard with 3000 :/
Batting: Can't wrap my brain around it.
UFO catcher: Funny enough for me it was broken in Kiwami, but works fine in 0 and 2.
Virtual On: No idea if bug or working as intended, but camera movement seems too slow here.
Karaoke: Could use a bigger selection of songs imo.
Rest seems fine to me.
