Nagoshi hasn't had much say in the series since 3 from what I know.

Next year is Yakuza's 20th anniversary, so I'm expecting Kiwami 3 after Pirate Yakuza.

Maybe there will be a new Judgment afterwards, but probably no earlier then 2026.

Yes, I was predicting that next Judgment game may come in 2026 as well too. Would not make sense for it to come next year when it is the 20th anniversary for the Yakuza series

Hype train is on, game looks fire, the wackiness fits majima perfectly, especially since he was kinda taking Ls in the series post 3. Glad hes finally back even if its a shorter gaiden style game. For those askin about ryuji or daigo remember the leak also said they have plans to make small gaiden style games for many other characters to flesh them out even more, doesnt mean it will be set after 8 now it could still mean we have a character that is dead feature a gaiden game, i think akiyama is next then maybe ryuji or possibly anyone else

Hopefully by scope, they just mean ambition and not that it will be 5 chapters long, and one chapter is padding.
