E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

Something for you all -New map-
A long LONG time ago I started tinkering with the SDK for EYE in hopes of making a new large city map. But It was my first work in SDK and I knew very little about what to do with some of the lag problems and I had RL stuff come up. Always wanted to go back and tweak it some more but have not had the time. Its playable and my testing with others was pretty good so I thought I would upload it some place and give someone a chance to try it.

All the stuff for the map is there and only got a little lag when you looked down two roads in the map. If your all skilled with SDK and can fix it be my guest and send it back to me. Ill put your name on it with a nice thank you and upload an update!

I was hoping to see some custom content for E.Y.E. :D

Downloading it as we speak. I'll give it a shot as soon as I have time. May take a day or two before I can give any feedback on it due to real life stuff going on, though. :P

EDIT: It really fits the atmosphere of E.Y.E. and I like that it alternates sound tracks!
I hope this inspires others to try and make something too.

I'm extremely excited to try this out! New material for E.Y.E. is like a dream come true.
Finally got around to playing it. I'll give a more in-depth critique of it when I wake up in the morning, but I'll say this much: it's a pretty good map that, with some tweaking and adjusting, could be perfect. :)

EDIT: A little later than morning, but whatever. :V Here's my more in-depth, tl;dr critique of the map, starting with the cons:

-Federal killing mission: For a map of this size and with bandits/looters spawning more frequently than Federals, the number required to complete the mission should really be toned down from 45. Maybe half of that would be better suited, that or have it where Federals spawn as frequently as bandits/looters.

-Darkness: For the most part I thought the darkness was fitting for the map. However, some places could do with a bit more lighting, like the streets.

-Lag: I honestly didn't encounter too many issues with lag. About the only time it really showed up was when there were clusters of enemies together.

Aside from those nitpicks, I really liked the map. Sadly, I don't know the first thing about mapping and editing so I wouldn't know what to do to help streamline the map. :P

Like Zergem said, I hope this encourages other folks to make maps and content for E.Y.E. I'm always up for trying out new content for this game. :D

I have just had a look on your map and it is a pretty interesting. The map is huge and some parts remember me the city in Omikron: the nomad soul and an old map we made for SBO (aemos). I have especially enjoyed the piggy bar and the flying car. Good work.

Love the map!

Even though the darkness is moody and atmospheric, perhaps it's a little too much. It forces me to turn on my golden EYE vision when I'm being shot at, which does a disservice to the hard work you put into the level.

Other than that, it's awesome!
Im just happy someone is enjoying it and it added some play time for people! :3
I was wondering- if this game's community pulled together and started mapping/modding more prolifically, would it be possible to start a Workshop section?
It is not in the current plan but it may change depending on how many contents would be released in the future and how much time it is required to implement Workshop for E.Y.E.

Neat. Just finished playing this. I enjoyed the fact that it was tense the whole time. Horray for chunks of enemies to hack to pieces with the Damocles. =D
