Will this game be on steam after a year or will ubisoft no longer publish games on steam?

if they dont release games on steam i will never buy another ubisoft game on pc ever again cause i hate how theyre using epic only and their horrible uplay store and everyone needs to boycott ubisoft on pc and only buy the games on console to screw them over

"Get gud and just buy a Xbox Series X" is not only irrelevant to "I don't want more accounts or use other stores". It is not a strong argument for getting a console.

You would need a Xbox account (don't know and don't own Xbox series X so can't confirm) to buy games on Xbox which is exactly what what the quoted poster don't want. More accounts that is.

You can still buy the DLC on Steam and not give Epic a single cent if you pre-ordered the Steam version. It's just not listed on the store search, you need to use direct links instead.

Even if you'd buy it on Steam, you still need Uplay regardless. So that logic doesn't necessarily make sense.

The person you quoted may already had an Ubisoft account and had no problem buying on Steam (obviously as this person is posting on steam forum).

The person you quoted is talking about adding a third store and account that we know of. Just because you have no problem doesn't meant this person want a third account.

Hey guys,

Just to reconfirm, at this moment in time we have had no official word to confirm Anno 1800 will be re-listed as an available title on Steam.

Nor have we had any information to confirm or deny Steam being a platform for titles in the future.

Changes to this will be announced publicly so if a Steam return is confirmed, we'll let you know.

In the meantime Anno 1800 continues to be available via Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Store.
