Is there a way to buy the Master Levels WADs separately?

Well if wanted to buy it seperate you wouldn't be able to play it, its like playing dlc without the source game

You used to be able to get it with Doom 2, but for whatever reason you can't anymore, you have to buy the full collection. (I'd just wait until it's on sale because it'll probably be lower than the $10 you used to have to pay to get them with Doom 2.)

For the record, I was able to get the Master Levels with Doom 2 about two months ago. I already had Doom 2 (personal copy from long ago) so there was no need to install it, Steam gave me the option to download the Master Levels directly.

Was all good, copied and pasted the WADs to their own folder and now I can run them through Skulltag. Only obstacle for me was memorizing which level each master level WAD overwrote so I could idclev to it.

I can now confidently say that I own every Doom game ever. It will remain on my memory stick until the day I die.

It would be pointless then since I already have Ultimate Doom. Don't need to have two copies.

I've got that DOOM Collector's Edition retail game that includes DOOM, FINAL DOOM and DOOM 2 and I just want the Master Levels WAD file :/

Man I also just wanted the expansion packs for Quake but alas they also require Quake to be purchased before Steam will allow you to buy them :/

Worst of all is the product page for the expansion packs do not mention that the base game is required. (It isn't too surprising though)

Edit: So just gonna buy Hexen & Heretic bundle as well as Commander Keen Complete :/ Nothing else that I want is purchasable without buying something else too.

I bought DOOM 3 BFG before I knew that it was missing some levels and I wished there was a way I could buy this without having to rebuy all the dooms since I own most of them.

Doom 3 bfg edition is a god-damn scam. Essentially its doom 3 with updated graphics (could of easily been modded in) and a few extra maps, and doom 1 / 2 are censored, which not only causes problems with, well it being lame being censored, but since it is no longer the base wads, you cant use the plethora of existing mods for doom 1 and 2, since they aren't compatable with this new messed up and censored version.

This is very, very late, but if you buy just Doom 2 and not the collection you WILL get the Master Levels. You do not have to buy the collection.
