Is this game inspired by Microsoft's Freelancer?

To the devs: Is there any plans to include a cockpit camera view option?

Just wondering, because I enjoy the game but there is one simple thing you can easily add that would improve the gameplay tremendously: a targeting lock function. You can't "lock" onto enemy ships or turrets. For me, that would dramatically improve the game. I understand that this game is probably no longer being touched or developed, but man, just adding a simple target lock function would improve this game's re-playability, if you are letting it die on the vine....

Does anybody know how to get the container that's apparently in the middle of the maze? No matter which route I go down I'm always too far away from it. I have 12/13 yet cannot for the life of me even get near the location the drone is telling me to go....
