Fighting Bosses SHOULD KEEP BOSS HEALTH
Resetting bosses every time you die means you hit raodblocks.

Learn from POE!

Learn to build better*
Overcome the obstacle, it's hardly a roadblock until you get to corruptions

Haven't looked into this in a while.

But isn't poe 2 going to do the same thing when u die fighting a boss. Reset it.

Edit after looking it up yup sounds Like poe 2 is doing the same thing LE is.

Grim Dawn is like this too.

no, bosses are too easy

That sounds silly. You should have to beat the boss from full health to 0. Not die at 80%, come back, die at 50%, come back, die at 10%, and then come back again and beat it when it only had 10% health left. That's just silly. You only beat it because it had 10% health and you had all your potion stacks and full health. That's not beating a boss. That's just being able to survive long enough to deal a measly 10% of a boss' health before you die. Any ♥♥♥♥ build would be able to eventually beat a boss that way. Terrible design, imo. Unless dying had actual consequences like losing exp or something, which it doesn't. One or the other, not both. Either dying should have negative repercussions and bosses don't heal, or dying has no negative repercussions and bosses heal to full when you die.

Instructions unclear, ended up with mainboard stuck in door.

Roadblocks are good. That means you have to get better at the game to continue.

Have you huh, never played a game before?
exile Mar 6, 2024 @ 8:52pm
Get better or refocus your res and defense. This is a skill issue, not a game issue.

No, Kitava cheesing is what allows bad builds to continue to create 'bricked' characters in POE because you don't have to fix the build early on enough when its actually feasible

(instead you find out after dying and killing Kitava after your 30th death that you can't do maps and you have a useless character that's more expensive to 'fix' and its easier to level a new character following a strict guide... or quit, which 99% of new players who make it to that point do)

Realistically you want this for Lagon, and if you don't learn the lesson on how to improve now (resist for phy/lightning/ice to 75%, hp+regen or leech, move to other side of platform when neck moves and eye glows red ) you won't survive the Monolith bosses, some who also have one shot moves sprinkled in with others (unless you super tank, which if you were, you wouldn't be asking for this change)

Changing mastery points in Last Epoch is easy, changing gear is easy (farm the fishy mobs in Thetima before Lagon, get coral rings if you have no hp-regen otherwise) you can even respec your skills or put a traversal skill on your hotbar if you need more movement

Use the opportunity to learn and improve, otherwise you will continue to face roadblocks on Majasa and the Monolith bosses

The fight is an 'encounter' you either kill the Boss or they kill you

The game would be too easy.
It is more fun the way it is.

If you could just die and jump in again at an injured boss everyone would run around with glass cannon builds lol.

PoE bosses not regaining health was the only way I could manage to get through the campaign, along with either grinding out the rest of a level or losing all of the accumulated exp from just fighting the one boss.

The average player doesn't have 20 hours a day to throw into a game, the few git gudders will enjoy their low pop game. Nothing new under the sun, same as it ever was. This is why D4 look so appealing to most gamers, I hope they fix their problems because they have many as well.

How does someone beat Lilith in D4 without going through the same process?
