hmm... read and tested everything in the thread and still the notification "ge3.exe has stopped working". I even have to rollback everything and do a clean installation but to no avail. Really hope the devs does smth about this soon.

I tried to run it with SDE, but couldn't get it to work, mind sharing the commandline?

Dl sde from intell.
Copypasted folder content to folder with ge3.exe.
Run sde-win.bat as admin its run sde cmd in system32 folder.
In cmd: select disk contains it (for me) : >D:
go to foler with sde >cd\steam\commons\and full way to ge3.exe
run application >ge3.exe

enjoy yor 10-35 fps...
You can try without copypast sde content. Then its like:
>D:
>cd\SDE_folder
>D:\steam\commons\god eater 3\ge3.exe
Thanks it works now, trick for me was to let Steam think i had AVX, so i actually had to close steam and run the game with SDE, it'll start steam with SDE aswell, laggy AF but made my char at least
its already 3 days since release date, do bamco give zero attention and zero effort to fix this problem???

I had this problem with Megadimension Neptunia VIIR and was able to at least launch both VIIR and GE3 through Intel's SDE emulator, though the performance hit is so insane that VIIR worked but 10 FPS in dungeons and GE3 just hangs on a black screen with the game's yellow cursor.

For those who do have AVX there's a cmd to disable AVX on next boot so you too can try this out: bcdedit /set xsavedisable 1
Reboot, try launching the game normally, try via SDE.
To enable AVX again use: bcdedit /deletevalue xsavedisable

Our best bet is to let Bamco know about this and try to get them to recompile the game with AVX disabled (yes, that can be done by adding an argument to Visual Studio's compilation command or maybe even unticking a checkbox in compiler settings).
IdeaFactory did this with NepVIIR so some people with Celeron or Pentium class CPUs even though recent in architecture (because they're essentially stripped-down-on-features versions of the iCore nowadays) were finally able to run the game.
My biggest fear however is the need of SSE4.2 which my CPU doesn't support either and which can't be forced to not be used in compilation, so I might never be able to run GE3 on this CPU just like NepVIIR unless they'd recompile the game using a CPU about as old as mine which also doesn't support SSE4.2.

I guess for now I'll either play minimum details minimal resolution on my laptop or just wait for the day I decide to buy a new PC since upgrading this would be almost equal to buying a whole new PC... which may or may not be next month though it would be a waste of money because I'd buy some of the entry-level components barely good enough to support AVX. A real beast will have to wait a few more months...

TL;DR: No AVX = No GE3 unless game recompiled and patch released.

Ah exactly as I suspected and seems easy enough for them to "fix". They probably compiled without even realising AVX was enabled. I have yet to find any evidence that AVX would help a game much if any at all so probably just an oversight.

Really have no idea about that. I’ve downloaded the game to my potato working laptop and smhw the game ran ( using Intel Graphics HD 5500) but when I run it on my other rig with a GT 1030 it won’t even booted up. U guys have any idea how this happened?

err... but my CPU is i3-5005U for my laptop and i5-7500 for my other rig. That's why I'm asking about this. So I don't think AVX is the point here.

Yeah, but keep in mind that its an issue that can take between a few days to a few weeks to be patched, IF it is. Some games like megadim never got said patch.
