How to use local multiplayer?

Searched for the online app but you have to pay for it. In the Mermelade website it says "Local Multiplayer, free mobile app required". Where do I get the "free multiplayer app?"

Thanks, already did. Still no answer from them. You know something is not right when a developer says you can play free local multiplayer in their website with a "free app" thats nowhere to be found.

Don´t work at Marmalade. Just want to play local multiplayer with the Steam Edition. The Marmalade Studio clearly states its possible:
