Could be anywhere from a few days, to try all the new gear and skills, to very long times, if you don't find the dungeons easily.
*EDIT*
Well that was more akin to the official post and not much in-depth.
Still, appreciate it.
You can beat the first 2 bosses almost right away, but when playing with friends, I can spend more than a month just to build a solid base (full on village) & outposts before even killing bosses above that. If you're not into building & crafting, I don't even get how someone can play this game more than a week.
The ''how long does it take'' question is relevant for games like Assassin Creeds and such, not a survival smh
How is it a waste of resources?
And I pretty much prefer to dictate whats relevant to me myself, thank you.
Besides, I got well over a hundred hours, so it's not like I didn't do a good portion of building and larping my ass across the world either.
Well, beating the actual content and not larping around. I wanted to know about the meat of the actual content and not the artificial content I create for myself.
Did cost money to produce that could've been used to benefit you, me and everyone else who owns the game instead.
Gotcha. Thank you. That's actually quite decent. I was afraid of it being waaaaaay less.
Got it. Thank you. Sounds good.
Not a zero-sum game and the cost of supporting a smaller studio to help advertise their game isn't going to change the content added to Valheim.
"Larping" around--wtf does that mean? Live Action Role Playing in Valheim? I'm sure some people do that if they are RPG heavy but otherwise you're just crapping on other people's play style (if they're not driven to "beat the game" like you).
If you enjoy the total experience then there's a lot to do. If you only want to kill bosses then yeah, you'll have some fun for awhile then you'll finish and be back in the forum demanding the next biome/boss. Probably should just have waited for 1.0 release if that's all you get out of the game. IMO
How much playtime? As much as you want. Why hurry through the game? Run around explore enjoy the game. I'll never understand why people want to speed through a game. The whole point of a video game is to go on an adventure to take you away from the real world. But to each their own if you find enjoyment then my hat's off to you.
